THE ROLE
My client, an established firm of PQS now seeks a CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR / COST MANAGER to join them at EXECUTIVE / ASSOCIATE DESIGNATE level working from their Bristol office on high value varied projects.
They are keen to find an ambitious MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor who is probably at project surveyor and who is keen to move up to the next level.
They work on projects of high value and recent projects include residential, commercial offices, leisure, large scale masterplanning, retail, light industrial and a film studios.
The ideal candidate would be keen to work on a good variety of projects.
You will be involved in all aspects of the PQS role doing both pre and post contract work.
My client is keen to find someone who has excellent client facing skills.
THE COMPANY
My client is a firm of PQS with a good range of clients, in the private and public sectors.
They are a large firm of construction consultants offering both cost management and project management services.
They have a number of UK offices plus offices abroad.
THE CANDIDATE
You will ideally be an MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor who is currently working for a firm of PQS.
My client will offer support to someone who is working towards RICS as long as you have been working for a PQS.
You will need to have good pre and post contract experience.
Skills should include budget management, cost planning, procurement, post contract cost management, risk management etc.
You should be able to work with limited supervision but as part of a friendly team.
Good client facing skills is essential.
You should have a stable work record.
Good skills in the use of Microsoft platforms adn Cost X or similar.
Experience gained across a variety of projects in the UK is required.
You must have excellent English both written and spoken along with good IT skills.
Salary is in the region of £55000 to £75000 plus RICS fees, pension contribution, discretionary bonus etc.

The Warranty Administrator is primarily responsible for: Processing all warranty requests and maintaining accurate and up-to-date warranty files, samples, and product/system listings on the online warranty system. Process all warranty requests received daily according to project specifications and dollar amount. Obtain and process all approvals for warranties from reps and sales management according to warranty guidelines daily. Maintain accurate and comprehensive files on all special warranties, including specifications, warranty request form (product and application information), and all appropriate approvals. Handle all warranty request transactions, such as obtaining contractor signatures for joint warranties, preparing and distributing Approved Applicator Certificates, generating sample warranties, and generating reports for sales force if required. Verify and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all warranty information, such as address verification, report generation, etc. Respond to calls and inquiries related to warranties from both internal and external customers. Update online warranty system as new products are added, products are deleted, warranties are changed, etc. Provide training to new sales representatives, distributors and contractors on the warranty system as needed. Input data into Salesforce.com as needed.
EDUCATION:

Process all warranty requests received daily according to project specifications and dollar amount. Obtain and process all approvals for warranties from reps and sales management according to warranty guidelines daily. Maintain accurate and comprehensive files on all special warranties, including specifications, warranty request form (product and application information), and all appropriate approvals. Handle all warranty request transactions, such as obtaining contractor signatures for joint warranties, preparing and distributing Approved Applicator Certificates, generating sample warranties, and generating reports for sales force if required. Verify and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all warranty information, such as address verification, report generation, etc. Respond to calls and inquiries related to warranties from both internal and external customers. Update online warranty system as new products are added, products are deleted, warranties are changed, etc. Provide training to new sales representatives, distributors and contractors on the warranty system as needed. Input data into Salesforce.com as needed.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Field Operations Manager (FOM) will report directly to the Regional Business Manager (RBM).
The FOM will oversee $30 million+ in annual self-performed revenue in this role.
The FOM will also review and approve proposals, expense reports, specifications (SOW), PTO requests, etc., for all WTI field operations personnel within the specified region.

All Field Supervisors, General Field Superintendents, and Project Managers will report directly to the FOM.
Through leadership and actions, contribute to the development of a Safety-Oriented Culture that will result in 100% compliance with Toolbox Talk attendance, DTA reporting, and truck audits; and have work habits that will lead to ZERO safety-related incidents on ALL projects within the region.
Provide training, supervision, direction, and support for all Supervisors, General Field Superintendents, and Project Managers within the regions in areas as follows: Estimating Pre-job planning Project Management to expedite projects safely, under budget, and with the highest attainable quality and customer satisfaction.
Leadership and coaching of their respective Foremen/teams.
Coordinate and collaborate with construction managers and GC superintendents on GC-related work.
Sales communication and coordination. Workforce planning, recruiting, and retention strategy to maintain the optimum performance of the region. Approve proposals for PR, CONPR, and Safety Solutions-related work up to $ 50 K.
Travel within the Region as needed to attend customer, sales, or business meetings.
Communicate on a regular basis with RBM regarding: Safety compliance results Project approvals, progress, and results Personnel updates Forecast, analyze, and report on sales and establish financial performance metrics.
Establish criteria for success and provide leadership for the regional team's achievement of goals.
