Tremco is looking for a Contractor Support Specialist to cover Pennsylvania.
The Contractor Support Specialist is a sales and support role, designed to generate contractor discretionary business in a specific area while providing localized technical support.
The CSS personnel will work directly alongside the contractors, focused on the restoration coatings line, to ensure that Tremco and the contractor are providing the best solutions, the best products and the best installations to our customers.
Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
* Ensure safe execution and delivery of all roofing services and operations.
* Provide a variety of technical training sessions in the contractor's office and field applications.
* Provide hands on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation.
* Perform roof inspections reports with written reports on condition analysis, photo documentation, recommendation and material budget estimates.
* Communicate professionally with our customers, Tremco sales representatives and regional sales managers and corporate staff.
* Complete weekly/monthly reports, sales activities, proposals and purchase orders.
* Travel within the assigned territory, complete expense reports on a timely basis.
* Pre-project field inspections and technical support including but not limited to:
* Peel tests
* Product recommendations
* Proper product installation
* Product diagnostic support to ensure the contractor is kept out of trouble in misuse of products for the situation.
* Provide an on-going sales support, training and development to the contractors, per the direction of the local sales reps.
* Be a direct line of contact to the contractors in the designated area, per the local sales reps, to maintain a good working relationship with the existing contractor base, keeping them informed and trained on Tremco s product line and new products introduced.
* Develop new contractors in the area, per the local sales team, by training on product systems and their usage.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
* Associate s degree (AAS), or Trade School Certification, or Bachelor s Degree (BS) preferred.
* 5+ years of roofing sales or technical experience in the commercial market.
* 2+ years of roofing repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience.
* Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems including built-up, modified, single ply, and metal systems.
* Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle record.
* Class B CDL driver s license.
* Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude.
* Prior experience in a field sales and service leadership role.
* Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learn internal business systems).
* In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of applications of products.
Intimate knowledge of product line.
* History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation.
* Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
* Overnight travel of up to 25% to support assigned customer accounts. The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $60,000 and $70,000.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Specification Specialist reviews and develops project specifications and Scopes of Work to ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and company standards, using their expertise to select appropriate items based on project requirements. We are looking for an Associate Specification Specialist to support our Pacific Northwest Region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop AIA MasterFormat specifications that comply with Tremco requirements, purchasing agreements, local building codes, and industry standards (NRCA, SPRI, Factory Mutual, etc.). Develop specifications in compliance with IBC, IECC, and Tremco-specific requirements & standards Develop specifications based on individual project Scopes of Work, using expertise, experience, and best practices to select appropriate items. Assist Estimators in understanding specifications for bid preparation and pricing. Calculate wind-uplift design pressures based on project specifics. Understand and apply 3rd party test reports for Tremco systems for specifications Identify and resolve service, process, or quality system problems; ensure proper resolution implementation. Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the specification development process. Stay updated with compliance policies to ensure specifications and drawings align with contract agreements. Monitor and ensure compliance with evolving building codes, industry regulations, and roofing standards by staying current with building code changes; escalate and implement necessary adjustments in design and construction practices.
Ensure specification work is completed in a timely manner Ensure specification work is compliant, clear, concise, correct, and complete. Ensure compatibility of specified products. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate with Program Managers, Construction Managers, Sales, Estimators, and Field Technicians throughout the specification development process to ensure contract requirements are specified.
Communicate with Product & Technical as needed throughout the specification development process. Provide support to the Specification Specialist team and Product & Technical Solutions Department to achieve company-wide goals and targets. Maintain educational credentials Responsibilities include any and all responsibilities deemed necessary by the manager Utilize Tremco's platforms for job and data management (E-builder, Spec Writer, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
Competent in Tremco's products and systems, including application, use, coverage rates, compatibility, and limitations.
Competent in UL Product iQ, RoofNav, Florida Building Code (NEMO reports) and NRCA Roof Wind Designer websites/programs. These additional duties may also be required depending on region: Prepare and review addenda and pre-bid documentation as needed. Create AutoCAD drawings from detailed Scopes of Work. Use established cost models to build a price for company bids Assist & train Sales Reps with the Specification process Assist & train in proposal/presentation preparation for key accounts

Worcestershire County Council is looking for a Water Hygiene Manager to lead and manage water safety compliance across its portfolio of corporate and educational properties.
About the Role
As the Water Hygiene Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing water hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with ACoP L8, HSG 274, and other statutory water safety regulations.
You will take ownership of water hygiene strategy, contractor performance, risk assessment, and training initiatives across the council's properties.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the lead on all water hygiene matters across schools and council buildings.
Oversee and ensure compliance with Legionella control and national water safety regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain proactive water hygiene strategies, including audits and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
Manage third-party contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within statutory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and water hygiene audits.
Provide strategic oversight and direction on all water-related compliance issues.
Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Collaborate with facilities teams, health & safety personnel, and external consultants.
Chair water hygiene meetings and drive improvements through clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing around water hygiene practices.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) managing water hygiene compliance across multiple sites.
Sound understanding of Legionella control, ACOP L8, and HSG 274 (Parts 1-3).
Strong project management, contractor oversight, and auditing capabilities.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience within a local authority, housing provider, or educational estate is highly desirable.
Relevant water hygiene or environmental health qualification (e.g., City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessment) preferred.
Confident in using technology for compliance reporting and asset management.
