We are seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer to join a market leading chemical manufacturing company, located in West Midlands.

The successful Commissioning Engineer will have the relevant vocational training or will have completed a recognised apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical discipline as well as possessing the following attributes and skills:
- Experience programming Programmable Logic controllers (PLC), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) using software such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Festo, Codesys, Siemens.
- Knowledge of setting up Servos, VFDs, Remote I/O, Ethernet and Profibus networks.
- Proven electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical experience within the automation industry.
- Ability to follow electrical and pneumatic schematic diagrams and drawings.
- Knowledge of 6 Axis Robot systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of script-based programming would be an advantage.

Are you a skilled Welder Fabricator or Fabricator welder looking for your next opportunity? Were working with a well-established and growing engineering firm in Swadlincote Derbyshire who are looking to add to their friendly team.
This role offers great rates of pay, steady day shifts, and the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.
What Youll Be Doing
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- MIG welding steel up to 15mm
- Fabricating components to a high standard
- Reporting to the Fabrication Manager
- Occasionally working independently on varied jobs and materials
What We\'re Looking For
- Apprentice-trained or time-served welder/fabricator
- Strong background in MIG welding and fabrication
- Confident reading technical drawings
- 3+ years experience working with mid to heavy gauge mild steel
- Fitting experience is a plus, but not essential
- Someone who can hit the ground running and work on their own initiative
