GENERAL SUMMARY
Make all intermediates and finished products by adding specific quantities of certain raw materials and/or intermediates to a batch tank or grinding mill according to a written formula using proper batch making techniques and safe methods.
This position also requires application and monitoring of established quality procedures and methods for production batches.
Expedites and follows up changes to allow for prescribed quality standards.
Request raw materials for use in formulas.
Position requires knowledge of batch making techniques, machinery operation, scales and meter use, and formula knowledge.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Weigh and/or measure out quantities of solvents, resins, pigments (or dispersions), and additives into blending tanks or grinding mills according to a batch ticket. Tend mixing or grinding equipment and maintain control over time, heat, mix speed, etc. Upon batch completion, take product sample to QC Lab for QC checks. Check production batches by comparison to standards Make adjustments to batch as necessary Recheck batch after adjustments are made until product is within standard product specifications Use proper analytical tools to compare product to standard specs and to wet and/or dry samples Record results of comparison and record onto batch card Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.

Experienced in plastic injection molding and plastic parts design. Proven leadership in managing new product development, start to finish. Extensive knowledge of product design, materials selection and manufacturing processes and direct experience working with a broad array of materials, preferably for consumer goods products. Excellent working knowledge of Computer Aided Design modelling concepts and software proficient with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D part modeling, drawing, and assembly creation of the mechanical components. Do you have a strong eye for detail? As a Traffic Clerk at Rust-Oleum Corporation a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry, you will be working on site at our distribution center in Kenosha, WI.
We offer a wide product range including decorative fashion paints, durable industrial roof repair coatings and, of course, the famous rust-fighting formula that started it all.
In this position, you will support the distribution center efficiently, accurately, and safely through shipping and receiving functions, and other traffic related activities to ensure timely, accurate shipment to customers in accordance with company guidelines.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 2pm-10:30pm
Tasks Profile
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
Compute amounts, such as space available, and shipping, storage, and demurrage charges, using calculator or price list.
