We are looking for a Marine Electrical / Electronic Engineer / Field Service Engineer.
For a company that has over 50 years experience within the marine industry.
This person could be from a sailing ETO or a land based Electrical / Electronic Engineer from the marine environment working on marine navigation and communication systems.
You will be required to travel around the area.
Duties of Marine Electrical / Electronic Engineer / Field Service Engineer.
You will undertake service, maintenance and installation of marine automation, navigation and communication equipment
At points, you will supervise field service teams / sub-contractors / shipyard labour with an aim of maintaining morale and team spirit, ensuring that all members of the team are fully familiar with the company QA policies, Health and Safety regulations
Conduct site surveys and detailed work specifications
Ensure an accurate list of tools and materials are created in line with the workload
Accuracy and professional standard of field service deliverables (i.e.
problem solving and quality of work)
Be a mentor and trainer to help the development of other colleagues as and when required
Play a leading role in ensuring that all work carried out is to ISO 9001/2000 standard
Qualifications marine Electrical / Electronic Engineer / Field Service Engineer.:
Background with marine electronics, especially bridge navigation, coms & PA systems
Preferably HND/HNC Engineering or equivalent experience
UK Passport Holder
Full UK Driving Licence
Must be able to travel in and around the Suffolk / Norfolk area.

Because of continued demand of their offering at their Leeds facility, this employer is actively recruiting a Trainee Service Technician vacancy.Their LEEDS based facility is based just a few minutes from the M62 and M1 motorways, meaning the successful Trainee Service Technician will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax, Wetherby, Selby and Barnsley.Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Service Technician will include:
Servicing and overhauling a variety of industrial tooling, including Gang Saw Blades and Grinding/Polishing Wheels and Rings
Operating a variety of manual/conventional machine tools including Lathes, Mills and Borers
Reading, interpreting and working directly from engineering drawings
Working Hours of the Trainee Service Technician: 37.5 Hours per week, spread across a day shift
Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 16:00
In return, the Trainee Service Technician will receive:
Annual Salary: Up to £29,000.00 per annum
Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days per annum including public holidays
Combined Pension up to 16%
6% Company Life Assurance
