Teach Plus is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge.
This 2-form entry school has a strong community ethos, a supportive leadership team, and a commitment to high standards in both academic and personal development.
They are now seeking a KS2 Teacher to teach a mixed-age class (Years 3-5) two days per week from September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is confident with mixed-age teaching and looking to maintain work-life balance in a part-time role.
Shared planning support will be provided.
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be expected to:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a mixed Year 3-5 class
Use assessment to inform planning and ensure all pupils make progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of pupils across three year groups
Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and share best practice
Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and the wider school team
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including any relevant meetings or events
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and confident multi-year group planning
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (mixed-age class experience desirable)
Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills
A proactive, organised, and flexible approach to teaching and learning
UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
The right to work in the UK
