Purpose:
To provide emergency and support services to service users.
To offer advice and information to users, their next of kin and liaising with other departments and outside agencies.
To visit users in their own homes, providing assistance and care to vulnerable adults.
To ensure the provision of a high quality and effective 24 hour service to users of Linkline in accordance with current policies and practices.
Responsibilities:
To answer calls from service users on the computerised calls handling facility in accordance with procedures and the TSA code of practice.
Assessing the nature of an emergency call, prioritising the level of urgency and responding accordingly.
To visit service users, driving to their homes, identifying the extent of practical and emotional support required, contacting and liaising with emergency services and other statutory /non statutory agencies when necessary.
To provide emergency assistance in the form of First Aid, resuscitation, personal care and safer moving and handling where necessary
To undertake initial crisis support to users and their families, liaising with Adult teams, specialist hospital teams and other health care professionals.
To be responsible for any follow up action, such as contacting GP's and other medical professionals, user's next of kin and making detailed reports of actions taken.
To undertake referrals to other agencies to assist the service user and provide appropriate information to carers and families
To maintain accurate records and statistics, including the client database, keeping detailed confidential records on all service users for inputting.
Liaising with all relevant agencies and ensuring that information is kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
Operational
To be available to work shifts on a 7-day rota at times that are appropriate to meet the needs of a 24hour, 365-day service.
To assist with other emergency out of hours services to ensure continuos care to vulnerable adults, installing Telecare sensors if required.
To install Telecare equipment requested by service users, explaining how it works and that of additional health care sensors.
Replace faulty units, disconnect and collect equipment that is no longer required.
Collect and return service users keys.
Regulate stock control procedures on the database.
To promptly inform manufactures of reported equipment failures and faults.
To be aware of safe working practices and Health & Safety procedures, keeping in contact with the alarm response centre at all times e.g.
risk assessments.
To use the IT systems to promote efficient and effective working arrangements e.g.
SWIFT, electronic mail etc.
Knowledge
Of the issues affecting vulnerable people, including older people, disabled people, people living with domestic violence and people living with chronic illnesses.
Of the relevant legislation and policies relating to vulnerable people.
Of the relevant legislation relating to Health & Safety at work.
Skills
Ability to use Information Technology systems.
Ability to respond effectively and be the first person on scene in emergency situations and render first aid appropriately to service users.
Ability to follow instructions and guidance from medical professionals when more intense first aid is required, such as CPR.
Required
Must hold a full current driving licence and own car.
Must Have Enhanced DBS.
Able to undertake flexible shifts on a rota basis.
Experience in supporting vulnerable people in their own homes or within organisations or in services that provide direct assistance or care.
Experience in carrying out a wide range of general administrative tasks.
Good practical experience of using computerised systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The General Contracting (GC) Manager oversees and manages all aspects of the General Contracting business (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc.) within the assigned region.
This will involve working with Construction Managers, CM Associates, Project Managers, Service Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, GC Superintendents, Tremco Sales Representatives, Owners, and Subcontractors to ensure projects are performed safely, meet customers' expectations, conform to contractual obligations, and meet financial objectives.
Additional duties will include participating in proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the region, also responsible for Sales & Service Support, Field Resource & Customer Management communication as necessary.
The GC Manager will create and execute training plans for new CM, CM Associate, and Project Manager positions for new employees.
With the RBM, the GC Manager is responsible for the overall profitability and performance of all GC projects in the region(s).
Abide by all Company policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct WTI personnel and work cross-functionally with other Tremco and WTI external and internal departments to maximize efforts and results in sales, compliance, safety, and profitability.
Act as a liaison between headquarters and the field to ensure that effective two-way communication takes place, and that positive results are achieved.
Assess daily operational situations for crisis management, safety, and escalation protocol. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to, field resource management, workload balance, job site conditions, product management issues, etc. Travel to job sites as needed to support account resources (including rooftop projects).
Travel to customer or sales meetings to support business or account activities.
Accountable for regional cost/budget variance & profitability as it relates to General Contracting. Accountable for regional Quality Assurance. Understanding of the subcontractor agreement and corrective notification measures to the subcontractor according to the executed agreement. Ensure Construction Managers are setting project timelines and goals. Identify resource or employee concerns and promptly resolve and engage appropriate HR or WTI management.
Ensure documentation of employee issues is prompt and submitted to HR.
Act as an agent of change and improvement , and adapt quickly to changing business priorities. Manage key metrics and report on a regular basis or as required. Coordinate work with Program Managers, Sales & Service Support, Customer Management (WTI & Tremco Roofing), and Resource Management. Participate in the Preventive and Corrective Action process with responsibility and authority to: Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to service, process, and quality. Identify and record any service, process, or quality system problems. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. Verify the implementation of solutions. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. GC Manager will have Cost Model approval authority for projects whose Gross Margin for Service exceeds the stated requirements.
Further approvals may be needed. Ensure the region's profitability by effectively managing the team and processes with the available tools. Assist when needed to review proposals received, conduct contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance.
Approve Proposals for submission (i.e., pricing, specification, scope). Direct Project Manager, technicians, and superintendents. Assist when needed with change order negotiation and approval. Regular communication with the Regional Business Manager regarding: Safety compliance Project approvals, planning, and results. Personnel and process management Any issues related to the above that will require collaboration or elevation of authority. Deep understanding of all Construction Management tasks Deep knowledge of Tremco / WTI policies and procedures. Understanding of financial reports Understanding of superintendent roles & responsibilities Understanding of the various Cooperative Purchasing options available in the region. Prior experience clearly defining expectations, articulating ideas, thoughts, and views, and providing continual, timely, frank, and direct feedback to others. Proven experience with setting strategy and establishing plans for business growth. Prior experience working between multiple departments that support regional compliance and profitability. Must have prior hands-on experience with handling business transactions, procedures, and practices, including but not limited to, pricing, company vehicles, safety, order entry, estimating, general contracting procedures, designation and duties of employees, warranties, quality assurance practices, service offerings, etc.

This will involve working with Construction Managers, CM Associates, Project Managers, Service Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, GC Superintendents, Tremco Sales Representatives, Owners, and Subcontractors to ensure projects are performed safely, meet customers' expectations, conform to contractual obligations, and meet financial objectives.
Additional duties will include participating in proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the region, also responsible for Sales & Service Support, Field Resource & Customer Management communication as necessary.
The GC Manager will create and execute training plans for new CM, CM Associate, and Project Manager positions for new employees.
With the RBM, the GC Manager is responsible for the overall profitability and performance of all GC projects in the region(s).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct WTI personnel and work cross-functionally with other Tremco and WTI external and internal departments to maximize efforts and results in sales, compliance, safety, and profitability.
Act as a liaison between headquarters and the field to ensure that effective two-way communication takes place, and that positive results are achieved.
Assess daily operational situations for crisis management, safety, and escalation protocol. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to, field resource management, workload balance, job site conditions, product management issues, etc. Travel to job sites as needed to support account resources (including rooftop projects).
Travel to customer or sales meetings to support business or account activities.
Accountable for regional cost/budget variance & profitability as it relates to General Contracting. Accountable for regional Quality Assurance. Understanding of the subcontractor agreement and corrective notification measures to the subcontractor according to the executed agreement. Ensure Construction Managers are setting project timelines and goals. Identify resource or employee concerns and promptly resolve and engage appropriate HR or WTI management.
Ensure documentation of employee issues is prompt and submitted to HR.
Act as an agent of change and improvement , and adapt quickly to changing business priorities. Manage key metrics and report on a regular basis or as required. Coordinate work with Program Managers, Sales & Service Support, Customer Management (WTI & Tremco Roofing), and Resource Management. Participate in the Preventive and Corrective Action process with responsibility and authority to: Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to service, process, and quality. Identify and record any service, process, or quality system problems. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. Verify the implementation of solutions. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. GC Manager will have Cost Model approval authority for projects whose Gross Margin for Service exceeds the stated requirements.
Further approvals may be needed. Ensure the region's profitability by effectively managing the team and processes with the available tools. Assist when needed to review proposals received, conduct contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance.
Approve Proposals for submission (i.e., pricing, specification, scope). Direct Project Manager, technicians, and superintendents. Assist when needed with change order negotiation and approval. Regular communication with the Regional Business Manager regarding: Safety compliance Project approvals, planning, and results. Personnel and process management Any issues related to the above that will require collaboration or elevation of authority. An opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health Nurse to join a well-established and respected provider of occupational health services, supporting organisations across diverse industries.
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will be delivering frontline occupational health services in a busy on-site setting, promoting employee wellbeing and providing essential clinical support.
This full-time role offers hybrid workiing options, a salary range of £34,000 and £36,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
* Carrying out health surveillance and wellbeing assessments
* Managing minor illnesses and injuries
* Delivering travel health advice and vaccinations
* Performing safety-critical medicals and drug/alcohol testing
* Offering guidance on fitness to work
* Supporting the clinical standards and development of the occupational health team
* Maintaining clinical records in line with best practices and protocols
* Liaising with external providers and internal teams to ensure a consistent and professional service
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as an Occupational Health Nurse, RGN, Registered General Nurse, Registered Nurse, A&E Nurse, Emergency Nurse or in a similar role.
* Registered General Nurse with active NMC registration (Part 1)
* Ideally have background in A&E or intensive care
* Previous experience within an health and wellbeing setting
* Strong clinical assessment skills and understanding of workplace health
* Confident using systems including Outlook, Word, Excel and medical databases

We are seeking experienced Commercial Roofers to join our team.
The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems.
