Position Summary:
Carboline is seeking an EH&S Specialist located at our manufacturing facility in Green Bay, WI. This person would be responsible for implementing and managing the environmental, health, safety, security, and emergency response programs for the local production and distribution facility.
We are looking for a dynamic trainer and behavior-based safety implementer for this facility.
This position will involve spending a lot of time on the production floor interacting with employees and supervisors identifying improvements in best practices and improving safety within processes.
PSM experience, hazardous waste management and someone that has worked within a Chemical processing facility is preferred.
Requirements:
Minimum of a BS degree in a safety, regulatory, or chemical related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in safety, regulatory, and/or chemical fields.
Strong working knowledge of the OSHA process safety management regulations (PSM).
Proven experience as safety manager.
Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies.
Experience in data analysis and risk assessment.
Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires some physical activity including but not limited to standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately 50% of workday.
This position could also require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
Lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to dust and chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.
Personal protective equipment would be utilized.
This position will require travel by air and/or car including nighttime and overnight up to 25% of the time.
Essential Functions:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EH&S regulations including written programs, record keeping, reports, inspections, monitoring, testing, and training. Maintain compliance with environmental regulations (Title40CFR) including specifically, but not limited to: Solid and Hazardous Waste management and disposal Clean Air Act compliance Clean Water Act compliance Emergency Response Pollution Prevention Planning and Control Establish local EH&S goals and objectives along with the timely and accurate reporting mechanisms.
Coordinate the investigation of incidents (including near misses and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and assist in the development of corrective and preventive action plans.
Serve as the site liaison to local emergency response providers.
Develop and conduct environmental, safety and health training programs to ensure employee's knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Serve as Facility Security Officer to implement and maintain facility security requirements as required by the Department of Homeland Security.
Conduct EH&S reviews for new product development, facility modification, product manufacturing modifications and new equipment/machinery installations per the OSHA PSM standard.
Create and update compliance-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job hazard analysis (JHAs).
Administer and monitor industrial hygiene sampling and communicate exposure information and/or personal protective equipment requirements to employees.
Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
Maintain the health & safety statistics database. Provide coaching and support to employees, supervision, and management to proactively address safety, health, and environmental risks and concerns. Initiate or assist in efforts to continuously improve the overall working environment in the facility.
Provide technical assistance, training, and work direction to colleagues in other departments.
Analyze problems, identifying alternative solutions, and implementing recommendations in support of the Company safety goals and objectives.
Identify potential or actual areas of non-compliance through regular auditing and inspections and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Review and develop profiles for classification of hazardous waste.
Responsible for timely disposal of process waste and waste finished goods.
Provide support to the Corporate Director of EH&S.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

Main Objectives of Job
To provide a comprehensive library services at HMP Brixton, ensuring that the highest standards of customer care are maintained and guaranteeing prisoners are not socially excluded from the benefits of the library service.
To contribute to the development of a welcoming, energetic, modern, committed and innovative service covering all aspects of prison library provision.
The service is to meet requirements under PSI 02/2015 (and any updated legislation) and in line with CILIP Code of Professional Practice.
Main Accountabilities
Responsible for the day to day running of all library provision within HMP Brixton.
The provision of excellent and quality-centred library services designed to meet the recreational, educational, cultural and information needs of prisoners.
To implement targets according to development priorities for the prison library as set out by the Development team or the prison authorities.
The development and maintenance of efficient and effective operations systems (e.g.
stock purchasing, cataloguing, circulation management, procedure, etc.).
Assisting the Development Librarians (Adult or Learning) in the development of the library service, undertaking an annual review of the library, updating and modernising the service as necessary.
Responsible to the Head of Learning & Skills for all internal prison operations.
Responsible to the Development Librarians (Adult or Learning) for professional library operations.
Participation in recruiting and selecting Prisoner Assistants as required.
Supervising their work and training and that of any other staff assigned to the library (arranging duty rotas, etc.), and completing Individual Learning Plans.
Maintaining awareness of the profile of the prison community and running regular surveys to support reading and information needs.
Selecting within the guidelines laid down by senior and specialist staff a wide range of materials to match user requirements, taking particular care to meet the needs of minority groups and to provide basic skills materials.
Liaising with uniformed prison staff to ensure access to the library for all prisoners.
Liaising with the prison Education Department to provide library support for education courses.
Liaising with other relevant external bodies that support prisoners and their families
Providing an enquiry and reference service tailored to prisoner's needs and undertaking research where necessary in particularly to support legal queries.
Maintain and promote a local information file, and disseminate information as appropriate, to support rehabilitation on release.
Exploiting stock through a programme of displays, booklets etc.
to generate interest and promote reading.
Ensuring a readers' request service is provided.
Providing user education and giving induction talks on the library.
Preparing reports and statistical returns as may be required by Lambeth Libraries or by the Prison Service.
Representing the Development Librarian - Adult and Learning within the prison and outside the prison as required.
To apply Health and Safety Policy in co-operation with the prison authorities and other staff so as to ensure the safety of staff and prisoners.
To maintain personal, library and prison security.
To carry out and manage effective enrolment, issue, discharge, shelving, renewal and overdue procedures.
The post holder must at all times have due regard for the Prison Service's and for the Council's Equal Opportunities and Race Relations Policies on which training may be required.

They are seeking an ASSET SURVEYOR who may be a Building Surveyor or similar to join them in London.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of the cyclical school estate surveying programme including doing condition surveys and reports, ensuring compliance with H&S, capture of accurate and comprehensive asset and compliance data, assess of estate condition and cost forecasts and long term estate management decisions.
You will prepare Annual Condition Reports, make recommendations for grant funding, do some project management and contract administration for repair and improvement works to schools.
You will do investigative building surveys and determine works for damp, disrepair claims, stock acquisitions, mergers and disposals, option appraisals and stock reationalisation, tenant alterations, party walls, customer complaints etc.
You will quality assure surveys carried out by contractors and consultants.
You will provide technical advice on building defects.
You will support the Operations Director to develop and deliver the Estate Management strategy for the school estate including decisions on transition to Net Zero Carbon.

THE CANDIDATE
You will have an HNC, BSc or MSc qualified or similar qualification in Building Surveying or similar.
You need to have experience of the following:-
Property surveys for property disrepair
You will need experience to design and deliver planned, cyclical and responsive surveying and maintenance programmes
Experience of stock surveying including developing templates and delivering volume stock condition surveys
Be able to critically analyse asset data and use it to provide detailed specifications including cost forecasts and to inform long-term investment planning
Be able to carry out defective property investigations to diagnose defects and do reports
You should have knowledge of health and safety statutory obligations
Previous experience of working on schools or colleges would be useful although not essential
You must have excellent client facing skills and be able to deal with people at all levels.
You should have a stable work record.

The primary result expected from the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to ensure the timely and accurate flow of materials and components through the facility by directing and coordinating the daily activities of the Shipping, Receiving, and Salvage departments under the guidance of the Materials Manager.
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information. Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand or using forklifts, and other equipment.

Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training.
Observe work and monitor indicators to ensure that operators conform to appropriate standards.
Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances. Interpret specifications and company policies and procedures for workers.
Responsibilities/Expectations: Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates: provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person. Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality. Learn all manual tasks performed within the department. Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures. Treat people with dignity and respect. Conduct all business with integrity. Adhere to Rust-Oleum Corporation Quality principles and participate in all departmental and company-wide Quality activities. Responsibilities
Consult with leaseholders (statutory and non-statutory consultation) and assist with applications for dispensation.
Issue Section 20 Notices and keep robust records of each contract.
Deal with leaseholder enquiries via email, telephone, and face to face.
Issue bills using Word templates and Excel mail merge.
Build good working relationships with the local Tenant and Residents' Associations and attend out of hours meetings when required.
Respond to correspondence and complaints and provide drafts for member's enquiries.
Identify and record details of vulnerable residents, signpost residents for support as required.
Ensure safeguarding concerns are acted on immediately and in compliance with the safeguarding procedure.
Investigate complex cases, work collaboratively with other departments, partners and stakeholders to ensure multi agency responses to complex cases.
Carry out home / estate visits / inspections in a lone working capacity as required.
Take legal action as necessary.
Ensure all legal paperwork is completed to a high standard.
Attend court hearings (including tribunal & mediation), representing the organisation positively at all times.
Keep up to date with all relevant legislation and good practice issues relating to the role.
Engage in generic team duties such as manning the wider team inbox.
Assist Collection and arrears team section
Assist RTB and service charge team section
Maintain excellent customer service in all areas of work.
Take responsibility for own learning and development.
Comply with all policies, including contractual standing orders, financial regulations and all HR policies and procedures including Health & Safety and Equality & Diversity.
The post holder will be expected to take a flexible approach to all duties and assist in covering for all aspects of work within the overall grading of the post.
To meet key performance indicator targets.
Some supervisory responsibilities for temporary assigned or shared employees.
Including on job training or allocation and checking work for quality and quantity.

Experience
Must have Basic DBS.
Experience of writing complex reports or witness statements.
Experience of working to deadlines and achieving targets through own work and work driven through teams.
Experience of successfully managing challenging customers / service users.
Good level of general education including grade A-C GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
Thorough knowledge of Leasehold Legislation.
An understanding of the current challenges faced by a social housing provider, within the context of the role applied for.
Ability to analyse and present management information to support effective decision-making.
Flexible to meet the needs of cyclical workloads within the wider team.
Manage conflicting and demanding priorities, from both within the team and externally whilst focusing on delivering outcomes to the benefit of the services.
Excellent written and verbal skills with high organizational skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft office suite with Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
