Job Overview
As a Manufacturing/Water Treatment Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering engineering excellence through fault resolution, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for minimising equipment downtime, improving reliability, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, building infrastructure, and utilities.
Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will support site performance through preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices, while adhering to strict Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned and preventative maintenance tasks within CMMS (SAP PM), including modular maintenance across the site (e.g., pumps, valves, filling lines, water treatment).
Respond promptly to breakdowns and failures to minimise production disruption.
Lead or support shutdown activities during Asset Care Windows and annual planned outages.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards, including LOTO and Permit to Work systems.
Accurately record maintenance activities in SAP PM and support reliability KPIs.
Apply Lean principles (TPM, RCM, RCA, 5S, 5-Why) to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with operational teams to improve processes and share technical knowledge.
Provide engineering support for statutory inspections, audits, and water treatment operations.
Experience & Attributes
Proven hands-on engineering experience within a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred).
Multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical disciplines; PLCs (Siemens S7), HMIs, and SCADA experience desirable.
Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation, including Food Safety.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a track record of improving reliability.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.
IT literate (MS Office) with experience using SAP PM or similar systems.
Driven, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
Education & Qualifications
Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification; HNC in Engineering preferred.
Ideally multi-disciplined (mechanical, electrical, controls, automation).
IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable.
Knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental aspects (including Food Safety).
Familiarity with Lean Principles and Operational Excellence.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Regional Business Manager (RBM) is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of their assigned region, which includes, but is not limited to, setting strategic direction, providing customer service and sales support, managing regional personnel, ensuring regional profitability and performance, and contributing to a culture of teamwork and quality.
The RBM will serve as the liaison for the region and coordinate communications with all levels of staff within WTI and Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance.
The RBM will maintain and enhance customer relationships, providing face-to-face business support and services.
The RBM will also work with field and sales personnel to achieve continuous improvement initiatives and promote synergies between sales and WTI.
Assigned regions are subject to change based on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct region's WTI personnel and work cross-functionally with other Tremco and WTI external and internal departments to maximize efforts and results in sales, compliance, safety, and profitability.
Serve as a liaison between headquarters and the field to ensure effective two-way communication and achieve positive results.
Develop an ongoing strategy to manage and grow existing business within existing markets and with all new strategic markets developed by WTI or Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance management.
Assess daily operational situations to identify potential crisis management, safety, and escalation protocols. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to field resource management, workload balance, job site conditions, and product management issues. Travel to job sites as needed to provide support to regional resources, including rooftop projects.
Travel to customer or sales meetings as needed to support business or regional activities.
Manage all WTI personnel in the assigned region, with personnel numbers ranging from 10 to over 100, depending on the region's sales volume. Develop regional resources for daily operations, growth, and employee development.
Identify resource or employee concerns and resolve them promptly, engaging the appropriate HR or WTI management as needed.
Ensure that documentation on employee issues is submitted promptly to the HR department.
Act as an agent of change and improvement, and adapt quickly to changing business priorities. Manage regional financial data, including identifying trends, correcting utilization, and addressing issues related to gross margin and/or operating income.
Review individual job financials and make necessary adjustments to address poor performance and prevent recurring problems.
Forecast, analyze, and report on sales, establishing financial performance metrics.
Define criteria for success and provide leadership to achieve regional team goals.
Develop workforce planning, recruiting, and retention strategies to optimize the region's performance. Establish, define, and communicate a clear strategic direction and targets for achieving goals within the regional team. Facilitate a culture of teamwork and excellence throughout the region and the organization.
Communicate and implement company policies and procedures within the region and support throughout the organization as required.
Work directly with the Managed Asset team to facilitate and provide support for designated national accounts.
Communicate with regional partners (other RBMs, supervisors, construction managers, etc.) to provide or obtain resource and technical support.
Additional duties as assigned by senior leadership.
EXPERIENCE:
5-10 years of prior experience in a results-oriented leadership role for a regional, cross-functional team within the building construction industry. Prior experience leading a large staff in remote multi-state locations. Experience in an influential role where extraordinary results were achieved through accountability and leading others to achieve and maintain a high standard of performance. Prior experience clearly defines expectations, articulating ideas, thoughts, and views, and providing continual, timely, frank, and direct feedback to others. Proven experience with setting strategy and establishing plans for business growth. Prior experience working between multiple departments that support regional compliance and profitability. Must have prior hands-on experience with handling business transactions, procedures, and practices, including but not limited to pricing, company vehicles, safety, order entry, estimating, general contracting procedures, designation and duties of employees, warranties, quality assurance practices, service offerings, etc. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Can service customers in a compliant and financially solvent manner. Understanding of contract management and processes. Intermediate skills with financial data and mathematics (understanding statistics, business metrics, gross margin, operating income, cost management, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make professional presentations to others. Must have excellent organizational skills to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to create strategic plans and measure and analyze results. Strong problem resolution skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all personality types. Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
Must be able to use technology to perform company tasks (expense management, time keeping systems, intranet, etc.). Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, depending on the season, to any location required within the US, with possible international travel. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Regional Business Manager (RBM) is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of their assigned region, which includes, but is not limited to, setting strategic direction, providing customer service and sales support, managing regional personnel, ensuring regional profitability and performance, and contributing to a culture of teamwork and quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct region's WTI personnel and work cross-functionally with other Tremco and WTI external and internal departments to maximize efforts and results in sales, compliance, safety, and profitability.
Serve as a liaison between headquarters and the field to ensure effective two-way communication and achieve positive results.
Develop an ongoing strategy to manage and grow existing business within existing markets and with all new strategic markets developed by WTI or Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance management.
Assess daily operational situations to identify potential crisis management, safety, and escalation protocols. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to field resource management, workload balance, job site conditions, and product management issues. Travel to job sites as needed to provide support to regional resources, including rooftop projects.
Travel to customer or sales meetings as needed to support business or regional activities.
Manage all WTI personnel in the assigned region, with personnel numbers ranging from 10 to over 100, depending on the region's sales volume. Develop regional resources for daily operations, growth, and employee development.
Identify resource or employee concerns and resolve them promptly, engaging the appropriate HR or WTI management as needed.
Ensure that documentation on employee issues is submitted promptly to the HR department.
Act as an agent of change and improvement, and adapt quickly to changing business priorities. Manage regional financial data, including identifying trends, correcting utilization, and addressing issues related to gross margin and/or operating income.
Review individual job financials and make necessary adjustments to address poor performance and prevent recurring problems.
Forecast, analyze, and report on sales, establishing financial performance metrics.
Define criteria for success and provide leadership to achieve regional team goals.
Develop workforce planning, recruiting, and retention strategies to optimize the region's performance. Establish, define, and communicate a clear strategic direction and targets for achieving goals within the regional team. Facilitate a culture of teamwork and excellence throughout the region and the organization.

EXPERIENCE:
5-10 years of prior experience in a results-oriented leadership role for a regional, cross-functional team within the building construction industry. Prior experience leading a large staff in remote multi-state locations. Prior experience clearly defines expectations, articulating ideas, thoughts, and views, and providing continual, timely, frank, and direct feedback to others. Proven experience with setting strategy and establishing plans for business growth. Prior experience working between multiple departments that support regional compliance and profitability. Must have prior hands-on experience with handling business transactions, procedures, and practices, including but not limited to pricing, company vehicles, safety, order entry, estimating, general contracting procedures, designation and duties of employees, warranties, quality assurance practices, service offerings, etc. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Can service customers in a compliant and financially solvent manner. Understanding of contract management and processes. Intermediate skills with financial data and mathematics (understanding statistics, business metrics, gross margin, operating income, cost management, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make professional presentations to others. Must have excellent organizational skills to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to create strategic plans and measure and analyze results. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain assigned machine(s).
Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards.
Ensure product meets certain tolerances and specifications.
Perform routine inspections per quality standards.
Understand production instructions.
Maintain accurate paperwork.
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment.
Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.
Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards.
Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements.
Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.
Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.
