Hours: Monday to Thursday 0800 - 1645, Friday 0800 1530

Are you an experienced Laser operator setter looking for your next opportunity? Were working with a well-established and growing engineering firm in Leicester who are looking to add to their friendly team.
This role offers great rates of pay, steady day shifts, and the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.
What Youll Be Doing Set up and operate laser machinery according to specifications provided.
(LVD)
Create high-quality laser cut designs and products in a safe and efficient manner.
Inspect and maintain laser machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
Adjust machine settings to improve quality and efficiency of the production process.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues that arise with laser machinery.
Clean and maintain work areas, including laser machinery and equipment.
Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role
Strong technical and mechanical skills
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to work in a standing position for prolonged periods and lift heavy materials and equipment.
Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others.
Work well as a team member.
Good team player with a willingness to contribute fully and flexibly as part of the overall team.
What We\'re Looking For a laser operator /setter who has :
- Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role
Strong technical and mechanical skills

You will need to live around the Watford Gap area in NN6 or live nearby
Your primary responsibility will involve operating a forklift truck to tip and load single deck or double deck trailers with curtain sides in our pallet hub
Requirements:
· Hold a valid FLT Licence
· Attention to detail
· Team player
· Must have experience of at least 2 years
You will also be:
· Guaranteeing the quality of freight loading and trans shipment through the hub to its destination, whether to position it in a bay area or to load it onto a waiting vehicle or stationary trailer.
· Conducting regular pre-checks to verify that equipment is fit for operation.
· Making sure to report instances of non-compliance/accidents/near misses/abuse/intimidation, etc
· To deliver information and to interact with customer vehicle operators, if and when necessary.
· Confirm that reports have been created for damaged products, inadequately presented vehicles, site damage, and equipment damage, among others.
