This position will focus upon their manufacturing facilities in the North of England - Cheshire and Yorkshire, in which you will be responsible for all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements across 5 manufacturing plants.
Within this position you will take responsibility for both the strategic development and pragmatic application of HSEQ processes and systems, by influencing and engaging with key stakeholders across the business from operations and site leadership teams, through to production operative level.

Key requirements of SHEQ Coordinator:

Experience of developing, implementing and continuously improving management systems in line with ISO accreditation requirements - OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, 14001 9001 etc
Experience of developing implementation and improvement plans for the whole suite of Health and Safety activities
Multi-site experience is desirable in delivering Health and Safety policy and culture, but not essential
Experience of working within an industrial, ideally heavy industry related environment

This position (Full OEM Training Is Provided As Part Of The Role) as the Field Service Engineer will see you responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, maintaining, overhauling, or troubleshooting 2 or 4-stroke marine, traction, and power generation engines.

Duties and responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
Assist and/or be responsible for work tasks covering installation, commission, service, maintenance, overhaul or troubleshooting
Be able to carry out maintenance and repair of 2 and 4-stroke engines / associated systems
Support customers with and implement the field maintenance procedures on the engines
Carry out performance tests, troubleshoot, and root cause analysis
Work with engine automation and mechanical systems, providing support to Customers within guidelines set out by the company
Implemented tasks as part of the maintenance of engines
On-site customer operational support in all stages of the project
Support the implementation of HSE standards in maintenance activities
Identify any spare part requirements for maintenance
Detailed report writing
Qualifications and requirements for the Field Service Engineer:

The Role of the Service Controller
Co-ordinating breakdowns and service jobs by assigning engineers and liaising directly with customers.
Logging breakdowns, inputting engineer times sheets daily, and processing invoices for completed retail repairs.
Ensuring excellent communication flow both internally and externally to minimise downtime.
Managing customer order numbers, live breakdown updates, and warranty cross-hire machines.
Creating and sending estimates for additional work and following up on final costings.
Keeping Work in Progress (WIP) low and resolving invoice queries efficiently.
Supporting other depot diaries when needed and contributing to the overall success of the service department.
Playing an active role in identifying new business opportunities and managing time effectively.
