General Purpose of the Job: The Project Superintendent is responsible for managing assigned special projects and customers (including GC and large-scale P&R, TremCare, etc).
This involves working with the Supervisor or Field Resources Rep assigned to the project to ensure delivery on time and within budget, as well as managing all sub-contractors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage field crews and subcontractors with a proven track record in running and supervising commercial and industrial roofing construction projects to deliver projects on time and within budget. Schedule and manage sub-contractors. Implement and understand project administration requirements. Create and update project schedules. Keep projects on schedule and running efficiently. Ensure the quality control management of projects. Control and schedule all field inspections. Verify that project work complies with contract documents. Be responsible for resolving project issues and problems, providing coordination between subcontractors and owner operations, and affirming specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards. Generating reports on project status, and ensuring owner satisfaction. Upholding high levels of health and safety management in compliance with all codes and laws, and Tremco Policy.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Must be computer literate and competent in Internet software and Microsoft Office. 10 years of experience in commercial/industrial built-up roofing systems and/or 5 years of experience as a Foreman for BUR systems, materials, and their applications, single-ply roofing systems, building construction, and field fabrication of metal work.
Must be able to keep project records and interface with owners, sub-contractors, and Company management.
Extensive travel is required.

Advanced knowledge and understanding of cement manufacturing, cement chemistry, and raw and finish mill circuit operation. Basic understanding of cement additives chemistries. Ability to interpret lab outputs (e.g., XRD, clinker microscopy, isothermal calorimetry, and physical test results) to develop customer-specific strategies and product recommendations. Proficiency with cement standards (ASTM, CSA, etc.). Strong knowledge of milling equipment, particle classifiers, circuit configurations, and pyro processes for optimizing clinker performance. Advanced knowledge of MS Office computer software: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams, Edge Internet Browser. Knowledge of industry trends, including low clinker content cement production and co-grinding with alternative materials. General Purpose of the Job:
Provides total support to the users of SAP application system and ancillary software tools, including package installation, configuration, enhancements & process improvements, problem resolution, training and education, report development.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Specification Specialist reviews and develops project specifications and Scopes of Work to ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and company standards, using their expertise to select appropriate items based on project requirements. We are looking for an Associate Specification Specialist to support our Pacific Northwest Region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop AIA MasterFormat specifications that comply with Tremco requirements, purchasing agreements, local building codes, and industry standards (NRCA, SPRI, Factory Mutual, etc.). Develop specifications in compliance with IBC, IECC, and Tremco-specific requirements & standards Develop specifications based on individual project Scopes of Work, using expertise, experience, and best practices to select appropriate items. Assist Estimators in understanding specifications for bid preparation and pricing. Calculate wind-uplift design pressures based on project specifics. Understand and apply 3rd party test reports for Tremco systems for specifications Identify and resolve service, process, or quality system problems; ensure proper resolution implementation. Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the specification development process. Stay updated with compliance policies to ensure specifications and drawings align with contract agreements. Monitor and ensure compliance with evolving building codes, industry regulations, and roofing standards by staying current with building code changes; escalate and implement necessary adjustments in design and construction practices.
Ensure specification work is completed in a timely manner Ensure specification work is compliant, clear, concise, correct, and complete. Ensure compatibility of specified products. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate with Program Managers, Construction Managers, Sales, Estimators, and Field Technicians throughout the specification development process to ensure contract requirements are specified.
Communicate with Product & Technical as needed throughout the specification development process. Provide support to the Specification Specialist team and Product & Technical Solutions Department to achieve company-wide goals and targets. Maintain educational credentials Responsibilities include any and all responsibilities deemed necessary by the manager Utilize Tremco's platforms for job and data management (E-builder, Spec Writer, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
Competent in Tremco's products and systems, including application, use, coverage rates, compatibility, and limitations.
Competent in UL Product iQ, RoofNav, Florida Building Code (NEMO reports) and NRCA Roof Wind Designer websites/programs. These additional duties may also be required depending on region: Prepare and review addenda and pre-bid documentation as needed. Create AutoCAD drawings from detailed Scopes of Work.
