The Domestic Abuse Accommodation Service: Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) provides 24-hour emergency accommodation for victims of domestic violence and abuse in need of temporary safe accommodation.
The service manages and provides 41 units of accommodation in various locations of the Black Country, ranging from houses in multiple occupation, individual flats and houses, as well as group schemes.
The dedicated team provides bespoke, client-led support to empower survivors of abuse to gain confidence and make informed choices.

We are looking for a compassionate and organised individual to undertake our Out of Hours Support and Security Staff.
The post holder will support clients and their children based within our refuge accommodation.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders and clients at all levels. The role: You will be based within our domestic abuse refuge accommodation as an integral part of the support offered to victims and children who have fled abuse.
Within this role, you will be required to ensure that the accommodation is fit for purpose, meets health and safety requirements and is safe at all times, as well as ensuring that the security measures of the accommodation sites are maintained and upheld at all times in line with agreed procedures/protocols.

This position is located within the Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service The BCWA Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service supports victims of domestic violence and abuse in Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Walsall through a range of contracted/commissioning arrangements.
The service works in partnership with other services within BCWA and key agencies to assess risk and provide tailored support plans for service users.
Our integrated approach provides effective, holistic support for survivors of abuse using a trauma-informed approach.
The team: Walsall Council Children's Social Care have implemented the nationally recognised Family Safeguarding approach to working with whole families to support child protection arrangements.
Family Safeguarding Teams are multi-disciplinary and include professionals from children's social care, probation services, mental health and domestic abuse The Family Safeguarding approach presents a unique opportunity for multi-disciplinary teams to support whole families with all aspects of delivery, reflecting a family focus approach that prioritises safeguarding for children, young people and adults.
Black Country Women's Aid service will second Domestic Abuse Victim support to parents/carers of Young People who are open to a Family Safeguarding support intervention.
The role will be based within the Family Safeguarding teams and work as part of the multi-disciplinary service to improve outcomes for families.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team, and support site production facilities through planned and unplanned maintenance of plant, equipment, and services.
This role involves diagnosing problems, ensuring safe working practices, and maintaining clear communication with suppliers and on-site personnel.
Key Responsibilities include:
Work with production staff to provide breakdown support in line with production priorities
Ensure risk assessments are carried out prior to work and reassessed if conditions change
Maintain good communication with production staff for updates on breakdowns and machine release
Communicate effectively between outgoing and incoming maintenance shifts
Act as a mentor when working with apprentices or new starters
Breakdown repair of existing plant and machinery
Installation and relocation of new and existing machinery
Assist with machinery moves
Implement and support TPM/PPM across the site

Identify repeat problems and assist in corrective actions to remove the cause
