An opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Engineer to join a well-established supplier of material handling equipment.
This full-time permanent role offers hybrid working, a salary range of £35,360 - £43,680 and benefits.
As a Forklift Engineer, you will be maintaining, repairing, and inspecting forklift trucks both on-site and remotely.
You will be responsible for:
* Conducting routine servicing and repairs of forklift trucks
* Performing safety inspections in accordance with relevant standards
* Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
* Attending customer sites, including occasional long-distance travel
* Maintaining service documentation and equipment records
* Providing technical support and professional service to clients
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked for 2 years as a Forklift Engineer or in a similar role
* Sound knowledge of forklift servicing, diagnostics, and repairs
* Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Willingness to travel as part of the role
* A full UK driving licence

The Company
Our established client is one of Europes largest providers of electric vehicles.
They are looking for a Workshop Vehicle Technician to join their team in South London.
You will be trained on how to service, repair and maintain a range of their electrical vehicle fleet.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to gain experience working in the ever-growing electric vehicle industry.
Suitable candidate locations must live within a commutable distance from Southwark.
Other titles may include Motorbike Technician, Automotive Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Mobile Mechanic or Motorbike Mechanic.
The Role of Motorcycle Technician:
- To carry out routine servicing or maintenance on fleet electric mopeds and electric motorcycles.
- Refurbish ex-fleet motorbikes to MOT and company standards for delivery clients.
- Conduct diagnosis of any found or reported faults, carrying out repairs as required - full product training will be provided.
- Carry out road tests to confirm correct operation and stability following service/repair
- Operate stock control
- Ensure the workspace and tools/equipment are maintained to an acceptable standard
- Understand and comply with health and safety standards
- Shadowing engineers to gain hands-on training and knowledge
- Attend training courses to update personal skills and knowledge
The Candidate - Motorcycle Technician:
- Must have previous vehicle mechanics experience such as servicing, repairs, MOT, diagnostics or similar.
- Holds a Level 3 City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in motor vehicle maintenance, vehicle mechanics or motorcycle maintenance
- Have a genuine interest in motorcycle maintenance and repair
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence or CBT Bike Licence
- Must be commutable to the workshop in SE1 postcode.
- Organised approach to work and effective time management
- Keen to learn and improve own performance
Salary and Package
- Monday Friday day shifts 9am-5pm (40 hours per week)
- Holiday 28 days per year, including bank holidays
- Salary: £31,779 - £38,000 per annum
- Starting salary is experience and qualification-dependent
- Enhanced overtime x1.5

This organisation is a leading independent provider of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services in the UK, specialising in the Structural Testing and Analysis of Lighting Columns within the Street Lighting and Rail Sectors.
Everyone in the team plays a key role, and the responsibilities of this position are pivotal to ongoing success.
You will be supporting project activities, carrying out analysis of test results, producing reports and certificates, liaising with customers, working alongside the Operations Manager, and providing ongoing support and training to technicians.
The Role - Data Analyst:
- Spend your first two months in the field to gain hands-on experience with our technology and testing processes
- Learn and apply structural testing methods
- Become proficient in their custom software, which runs through Excel to produce analytical graphs
- Interpret structural data and generate clear, accurate test results and certificates
- Communicate directly with clients and customers via email, providing updates and documentation
- Provide support to the Operations Manager and assist field technicians with ongoing projects and training
