GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Control Manager manages the Quality Process to ensure we are effectively meeting our key business metrics and satisfying all customer product requirements.
Key responsibilities include Quality, Lean and Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement, with responsibility for ISO quality systems and compliance.

Work directly with Corporate and local Purchasing on vendor quality or supply issues; assist with vendor selection and qualification.
Manage ISO Quality systems.
Lead the Lean/Six Sigma initiatives in the plant.
Respond to and report on internal and external quality concerns - manage the root cause investigation, corrective action implementation, and follow up, and the SAP quality process.
Interact professionally and timely both verbally and in writing with customers and the sales force.
Develop quality standards for raw materials and finished products.
Oversee all lab functions and personnel, assuring safety and integrity of those operations.
Test on raw materials and finished product as required.
Implement material cost-saving plans where and when appropriate.
Participate in annual budget planning.
Assist in all compliance activities, especially Hazcom and maintaining SDS system.
Other projects/tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Degree in Quality, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, Polymer, or Business.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
2+ years' related experience.
Experience in Quality Programs (Lean, ISO, Six Sigma).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
ISO certification.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
ISO knowledge. Six Sigma / Lean Thinking. Training experience. Strong communication skills (written, verbal). Confidentiality.

Our client, a well-established educational institution, is seeking a skilled and experienced Trust Catering Manager to join their team on a 4 month temporary contract in Sittingbourne.
Position Overview
The Trust Catering Manager will play a crucial role in delivering an effective and cost-efficient catering facility for the educational institution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the catering provision at a local Primary School, ensuring that students and staff receive modern, healthy, and high-quality meals.
Responsibilities
Deliver an effective and cost-efficient catering facility, including menu planning, budgetary control, and stock management
Lead, manage, and deploy a team of catering staff
Develop termly menus that cater to all dietary requirements
Coordinate in and out of school catering events
Oversee food preparation and service
Manage the whole school catering budget
Maintain accurate stock records and monitor invoices
Ensure equipment maintenance and adhere to all health and safety procedures
Undertake risk assessments and report incidents
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, personal hygiene, and appearance among catering personnel
Requirements
Adherence to all DfE regulations, health and hygiene regulations, COSHH regulations, and nutritional legislation
Ability to manage budgets and maintain accurate stock records
Experience in leading and managing a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
The contract will run from September to December 2025 with working hours of 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check including children's barred list.

This is a field-based role, carrying out telematics installations at trailer builders, fleet customers, end users and maintenance providers across the UK.
Key Mobile Telematics Installation Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Retro fit new Telematics equipment onto trailers.
- Monitoring Electronic Brake Performance, Tyre Pressure, Fridge Temperature Monitoring, Door Sensors
- Fault finding and diagnostic checks to pre-existing installations.
- Remotely updating, Commissioning, and monitoring telematics units.
- Providing Customers with face to face support.
