Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities
As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be joining an already established engineering department, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
The purpose of this role is to ensure all maintenance activities are completed to a high standard and in line with Safety and Compliance of the site.
Key Responsibilities
Be a key user of the (CMMS) and be accountable for completing high quality Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to schedule and delivering reactive maintenance across the site.
Delivering maintenance on site facilities to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
Diagnose and repair equipment failures promptly to minimize production downtime followed by Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to site statutory safety requirements and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Be a key contact on site when liaising with contractors during breakdown/repair work or planned maintenance following the company's permit to work standards at all times.
Essential Criteria for the Maintenance Engineer
Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Or related / equivalent field)
Experience of working within Process Manufacturing fields - Ideally within Chemical Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or Food Manufacturing.
A minimum of five years hand-on, industry-based experience as a Maintenance Engineer.

This is a remote position.
This role is primarily responsible for cultivating relationships and improving the revenue and profitability of existing and new National Accounts, along with developing the customer strategies within the National Accounts Program required to achieve, in part, the annual Tremco sales and profit plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific Responsibilities:
Target new and develop existing National Account opportunities.
Establish senior level relationships within targeted National Accounts. Establish agreements, contracts, MSA's for long-term business with National Account customers. Identify perceived gaps in our value offerings that present opportunities for National Account growth. Manage a revenue forecast process for each National Account. Communicate closely with National Accounts Director, Business Development team within Tremco regarding National Account activity tied to product/service recommendations, bidding, estimating, quoting, project pipeline, forecast, etc. Identify and execute all required sales tools and resources required to positively impact National Account customer satisfaction.
Manage margin, revenue growth and account targeting in alignment with Tremco and National Accounts program goals.
Manage, mentor, lead team members aligned to the National Accounts program to ensure program goals are obtained.
Key Activities:
Customer meetings, presentations, and events with Tremco / WTI / Grainger National Account team members. Develop programs, scopes-of-work, pricing, and contract negotiation for national projects. Lead weekly / bi-weekly cadence calls with National Account customers and aligned National Account support teams to ensure all internal/external stakeholders are up to date on the status of the program. Account conflict resolution with corporate contacts and field sales as needed.
Presentations to corporate and sales management on account development progress and success.
Provide coaching to Tremco reps and Tremco corporate account representatives assigned to manage / develop National Account opportunities (communication, messaging, presentation preparation, pricing, best practices, contract negotiations, proposal submission etc.). Actively communicate with Tremco representatives to ensure they are aware of all National Account responsibilities within their territory (goals and parameters of specific National Account programs; key contract elements; messaging to local site level contacts; expectations, deliverables, and timelines etc.). Participate in monthly meetings with Tremco/Grainger teams to update on past 30 day / next 30-day activities tied to National Account programs. Lead discussions with current and future National Account clients regarding OneTremco / WTI's capabilities in the area of new construction and existing infrastructure. Identify and target National Account clients biggest pain point, and drive education centered around building envelope solutions (roofing, rooftop safety, HVAC, façade, flooring, air barrier, below-grade waterproofing, parking structures etc.). Collaborate with WTI's Accounts team and aligned Tremco representatives to build complex, comprehensive long-term asset management plans (i.e.
5 to 10-year capital plans) that leverage cost avoidance opportunities by prioritizing proactive maintenance, repair, and restoration over replacement.

Meet and exceed sales targets / plan based on National Accounts program goals. Add and develop new accounts within the National Accounts portfolio. Develop and facilitate senior level relationships at strategic accounts to leverage incremental sales growth. To be responsible for all administration, the management of finances and stock control, the maintenance of hygiene and Health and Safety standards as laid down and the care and maintenance of the building/s and equipment.

To lead and support service managers, deputy managers and senior staff to allocate and monitor services to individual service users, in accordance with care and support plans agreed by the Commissioning Teams.

To ensure that risk assessments are carried out for each service user so that the service is provided in a manner which minimises risk to the service user and staff, and to keep records of all completed risk assessments.
To ensure that financial information is obtained from service users, or via commissioning colleagues and recorded to assist with financial assessments can be made and relevant charges levied and collected.
To ensure the progress of service users is assessed with a view to maximising their independence levels, encouraging them to achieve their full potential.
This will include the rehabilitation of service users, wherever possible, and re-enabling them to participate independently within the community.
To enable service users to participate in the recreational and leisure activities of their choice, and to assist them to maintain their personal skills.
To ensure that all Care and Support Plans and information about service users/residents including manual and computerised information, are recorded to an agreed format and an acceptable standard and kept in accordance with Data Protection Legislation (GDPR).
To promote effective communication and positive relationships, and to enable service users to have access to advocates where appropriate.
To operate and promote an effective and responsive complaints procedure in line with policy.
To ensure that service users who are experiencing a change in their care or support requirements and provision are supported and assessed as appropriate.
To liaise with other professional partners and agencies (including medical/nursing where appropriate) at commencement, during and at the end of a service.
To ensure the proper control, recording and issuing of medications as prescribed by the medical practitioner and in accordance with legislation and the Medication Policy.
To monitor and support service users who are able to administer their own medication.
To ensure the residential services are compliant with the guidelines and standards set out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other statutory and legal frameworks and to respond appropriately to inspection reports.
To promote and maintain quality assurance processes in line with agreed monitoring and reporting systems.
To co-ordinate and undertake visits to services, to audit the quality-of-service provision against service specifications and standards and write detailed reports as required.
Requirements
Possession of the Registered Care Manager Award or equivalent is essential.
A recognised social services qualification (e.g., City and Guilds 325/3 Diploma, or a Certificate in Management Studies or a relevant Social Work qualification, and/or Assessor Award/ Level 2/3/4 in Care.
A commitment to and responsibility for personal and professional development and actively to take advantage of upskilling through relevant apprenticeship standards and training opportunities.
A minimum of two years supervisory or management experience in care or support work, including staff supervision and appraisal and either experience of full responsibility for managing a budget, or experience of budget management with supervision.
Good working knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care agenda/Inspection and CQC Regulation processes in relation to monitoring residential / nursing Homes.
Knowledge of applying care governance and care management to operational policy.
Negotiation skills and an understanding of and commitment to quality assurance, including customer feedback.
Ability to manage change within a social care setting.
Evidence of mentoring/management and leadership skills within the performance and care governance framework.
Ability in using audit to improve quality of care.
The ability and flexibility to work across and support a wide range of services.
Experience of undertaking data analysis with accuracy and attention to detail.
Highly numerate, with the proven ability to understand, analyse, interpret, and explain complicated information and data.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and other IT systems and will develop digital skills as necessary.
An ability to manipulate data in excel to produce relevant management information.
