Key Responsibilities
Produce Recurring (RC) and Non-Recurring Cost (NRC) estimates to support Design-to-Cost initiatives across multiple aircraft programmes

Experience & Skills Required
Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Engineering or a related technical discipline
Background in manufacturing and/or engineering, ideally within aerospace or complex industrial environments
Knowledge of detail part manufacturing processes, including:
Composite structures
Metallic parts
Machining and fabrication
Assembly processes
Understanding of non-recurring cost drivers associated with industrialisation and product changes
Proven Design-to-Cost experience or mindset

The leadership of a small Engineering team of around 10-15 Headcount

Qualifications needed as Mechanical Engineer;
Previous experience within a senior production/ manufacturing leadership position, e.g.
Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Shift Operations Manager, Shift Production Manager, Production Lead, etc
Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve teams.
The position reports to the Site Operations Manager and provides a high level of influence and autonomy within the business, along with opportunities for both personal and career development.
