GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Production Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of target manufacturing activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly deadlines and provide leadership for the shift supervisors and associates within the value stream.
The Production Manager will drive the lean process to maximize profitable growth, provide premier customer service, develop a technically qualified workforce, reduce operating costs and inventories through incremental and quantum continuous improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads and guides Lean initiatives within the designated work cell.
Works closely with plant-level management on Lean process projects using lean tools and metrics.
Helps develop a Lean Strategy to be implemented plant-wide.
Participates in FIT and continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques.
Drives Lean Management - including Tier Meetings, Supervisor Standard Work, Accountability Boards, and overall process discipline.
Responsible for hiring and developing associates, budget planning, employment decisions and performance assessment of shop floor associates.
Operates as part of a Leadership Team responsible for running the factory to specific KPI's and improvement activities.
Promotes and ensures a safe and environmentally compliant work environment.
Directly manages the departmental cell and works cooperatively with other functional managers/supervisors/leaders to optimize the entire value stream.
The Product Manager is relentless about implementing MS168 and continuous improvement.
Responsible for understanding the current culture by reviewing existing policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
HS Diploma with 8+ years' experience OR
Engineering Degree with 2 years' experience OR
Non-Engineering Degree with 4 years' experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
1 year of previous supervisor or management experience required.

Install structure and discipline relative to start/stop times and break times, as well as other fixed non-productive needs; for example, vacuum times and upgrading the Supervision floor presence.
Implement Lean Management.

Learn and implement Lean principles.
Evaluate gaps between Actual and Expected Lean performance and address the gaps with the Leadership Team, utilizing the Division Black Belt and other internal resources as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrician's Mate
Assisting engineers with the installation of electrical systems.
Pull, route and secure control panels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with drawings and standards.
Install trunking and cable trays for various systems and adhere to project requirements.
Operating a variety of hand and power tools to support engineers in completing installation and assembly tasks.
For the Electrician's Mate position, we would like to speak to candidates with:
Previous experience working within similar roles, such as an electrical improver and an electrician assistant.
Previous experience working with power and hand tools.
Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings.
Working Hours of the Electrician's Mate.
Monday to Thursday: 07:00-16:00
Friday: 07:00-11:45
In return, the Electrician's Mate will receive
Hourly rate: £14-£16 per hour (DOE).
Early finish on a Friday.
Overtime paid at a premium.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician
Responsible for plant wide proactive and reactive Electrical Maintenance activities to ensure the optimum performance of the factory.
Covering planned and reactive maintenance activities across manufacturing lines
Help to drive plant improvements and increased efficiencies
Identify and resolve recurring plant issues through engineering improvements (RCA)
Carry out work upon all electrical elements such as motors, invertors, safety circuits, performing basic fault finding on PLC's etc.
Extensive training will also be provided on Siemens PLC S7 TIA portal systems along with further upskilling opportunities.
Enhance plant reliability with best practices using CMMS
Required Experience & Qualifications needed as a Maintenance Electrician
You will need to hold the following Electrical Vocational and Technical qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3 AND BTEC Level 3 or higher with NVQ Level 3, OR be Apprentice trained to level 3 or equivalent.
Strong planned and reactive electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
