Day To Day Responsibilities
Creating and refining manufacturing work instructions, tooling documentation and inspection guidelines
Working with cross-functional teams including operations, tooling, IT and supply chain to drive continuous improvement
Investigating and resolving non-conformities and production defects through data-driven problem solving
Developing and managing master data within SAP systems
Conducting workflow analysis, time studies, and capacity planning to identify and resolve bottlenecks
Supporting maintenance coordination and production equipment troubleshooting
Requirements for the role
A minimum of one year's hands-on engineering experience, or a completed placement year in a relevant setting
HND (or higher) in a mechanical engineering discipline
Confident using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and strong knowledge of MS Office
Experience reading engineering drawings and understanding mechanical manufacturing processes
Familiarity with metal component processing and surface finishing (aerospace experience desirable)
The ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and work effectively across teams

The Process Engineer provides process engineering support for raw materials, compounding, production and packaging functions to improve safety, quality, service and cost efficiencies in the operations area in the Pacific, MO manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
Support daily production needs through process troubleshooting, experimentation and support for production requirements. Work with project managers on designing and installing PLC controls for capital projects. Work with Allen-Bradley PLC's to maintain and improve current operations. Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce cost, increase material utilization, improve first time right, integrate new products/processes into production and reduce variation. Implement necessary changes and update all documentation (including drawings and SOP's) accordingly. Coordinates with plant engineer to oversee capital projects necessary for the continued improvement and modernization of the plant. Ensure completion of projects within budgets. The Process Engineer provides process engineering support for raw materials, compounding, production and packaging functions to improve safety, quality, service and cost efficiencies in the operations area in the Pacific, MO manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
Support daily production needs through process troubleshooting, experimentation and support for production requirements. Work with project managers on designing and installing PLC controls for capital projects. Work with Allen-Bradley PLC's to maintain and improve current operations. Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce cost, increase material utilization, improve first time right, integrate new products/processes into production and reduce variation. We are recruiting for an Electrical Technician to join a specialised supplier of Construction Materials, working at their Heavily Automated Manufacturing site in (Nr) Knottingley.
This role is offering up to £52,000, for Monday - Friday days based position, Overtime paid at 1.5 and 2x, as well as a high benefits package, including a company pension contribution, life assurance scheme and discretionary Company bonus scheme.

Focussing on developing and maintaining automated control systems including, programming, Inverters, PLC's and SCADA systems.
Making sure all Controls and Electrical assets are maintained in compliance with the company's requirements within the health, safety and site standards.
Oversee all C&E work (projects and shutdowns, or other) safely and efficiently within the allocated time and budget.
Working alongside the Engineering Team across manufacturing excellence, looking at CI and Root cause analysis
