JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides total support to the users of SAP application system and ancillary software tools, including package installation, configuration, enhancements & process improvements, problem resolution, training and education, report development.
The position focuses on a specific functional area(s) of the company, which in this case is Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
The scope of responsibility is for Tremco American operations all businesses and all locations.
Nurtures and insures the successful use of the application systems tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides overall direction in the implementation of new SAP modules and new releases of the SAP application software, as well as related 3rd party software tools. Provides 2nd level help desk support.
Trains and assists users in the use of SAP business application software.
Prepares training materials, schedules, and conducts application system training as needed.
Audience may be other IT staff or end-user staff.
Performs cost vs.
benefit analysis to determine rational for application system development and enhancements. Acts as liaison to the software vendors and other users of the software.
Is actively involved in software and/or functional user groups users. Performs systems analysis, design, configuration, and programming tasks related to enhancements, interfaces, data conversion and special reporting requirements, etc. Advises users as to the applicability of various alternatives to meet the specified requirements, such as: SAP baseline functionality & reporting, specialized configuration, extracts to PC-based analysis tools, custom report-writing and report development, complimentary software packages, and or changes to business processes. Designs and assists users in the design and documentation of business processes and procedures, the development of training materials, and the delivery of training, etc.
Performs thorough testing of all new and revised system functions and reporting.
Performs quality assurance reviews of procedural documentation and training materials. Acts as a team leader or group leader for projects / tasks established within a functional area, such as: sales & distribution, finance & accounting, or manufacturing.
Organizes and leads various user group forums to address issue management, to field & manage enhancements requests, and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas among users within a given functional area of the business operation.

Education and/or Experience:
Formal Education Required: College or University degree is preferred.
SAP Certification in related discipline or equivalent training.
Practical Work Experience Required:
5+ years' experience in Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) modules 4+ years SAP implementation experience. S4 Hana experience preferred 3+ Years SAP Super User in discipline related to PP/DS module 3+ Years of supporting related PP and Material Master data including managing data and mass loads / changes Experience with SAP IBP - Integrated Business Planning Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing is a plus Understanding of ABAP and debugging skills are a plus Strong customer service skills and orientation.
High degree of flexibility in interface with customers / constituents.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Building Envelope Field Estimator will evaluate existing building envelope conditions based on visual and documented areas of deficiencies, develop a scope of work to remedy identified deficiencies, and develop budgets, estimates, and or proposals associated with building envelope repairs.
This role is responsible for converting bid documents to construction documents and communicating job scope and expectations to the field site foreman, both verbal and written.

Attend pre-bids and develop photo documentation and field dimension records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for investigating and analyzing building envelope failures and suggesting long-term repairs. Conduct building envelope condition assessments, forensic investigations, and failure analysis to determine the root cause of problems and develop appropriate remediation strategies. Coordinate on-site schedules, condition requirements, and the overall phasing of work. Provide technical expertise in building envelope systems, including roofing, waterproofing, and wall systems.
Execute take-offs of construction documents Travels to project sites to review for proposal development. Coordinate with Tremco Sales Representatives and WTI Construction Manager. Skillfully prepare estimates by meticulously studying proposals, plans, specifications, and addendums by identifying labor, material, and time requirements. Conduct detailed takeoffs for building envelope repairs, guaranteeing a comprehensive grasp of the project scope. Assemble and present estimates with precision, incorporating numerical and descriptive information.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Four plus years of experience in the building envelope industry.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or CAD drawings. Ability to travel to managed local job sites weekly or as required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams. The Offshore Operations Superintendent represents the company's Project Marine Manager (PMM) and the company's interests during operations in all aspects of operations and offshore installation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Ensuring the integrity of the supplied submarine fibre-optic cable products is maintained throughout the installation operation
Review previous operational meeting minutes to assess the vessel for project readiness, reporting on the technical status of the lay spread equipment
Ensuring the Health & Safety of the team, and ensuring the sub-contractor complies with the contractual HSE requirements, through toolbox meetings and risk assessments
Monitoring and reporting daily progress of the operation, ensuring the contractually agreed plan of work, procedures, controls and work methods are followed and adhered to
Interfacing with the Marine Offshore Operations Manager (OOM), the vessel Master/Operations Manager agreeing all operational and technical matters, to ensure a favorable outcome for all aspects of the operation (HSE, Technical and Commercial)
Reacting to dynamic situations, contributing to identifying solutions to unplanned events and implementing the necessary changes to the work plans to ensure that the safety of the operations is maintained by all involved, and to ensure a technically acceptable outcome to the company and the Client.

IIRs/MIRs all incidents must be reported to the PMM.
A separate incident report will be completed for each incident irrespective of whether the subcontractor also submits an incident report.
This is an internal report and should only be distributed within the company
Report any near miss/accident to any personnel or contractors in accordance with the Vessel's own ISM approved Accident Report procedure and ensure these are included in the daily report back to the company.
The PMM must ensure that all such accident reports are forwarded to the appropriate site Occupational Health Department
Ensuring the Client Representative is kept informed of the project status and changes to activities that are carried out in the field of operations and coordinating with the Client Representative on any parallel in-field activities that are being carried out at the same time
Highlighting any issues arising from the onboard fibre-optic cable Jointing and Testing teams to the PMM
On completion of an operation hold a wash-up meeting with all the relevant parties onboard and issue a report/minutes to the OOM and Marine Engineering team plus agreed distribution list
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Marine operations experience as Master, Chief officer or surveyor Team Leader within the cable installation industry
Bachelor degree in a relevant field
Minimum 5 years of relevant offshore installation operation experience
Maritime experience
Extensive familiarity and understanding of offshore installation and QHSE processes
Ability to identify and manage processes coordination and solutions for multiple stakeholders across the marine operations activity
Highly developed documentation management skills
