You will be required to work on engines, equipment repair, hydraulics service, installation, warranty and maintenance work.
Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer :
•Repairs, Servicing, Maintenance and Commissioning of marine engines, controls, HVAC & propulsion units
•Workshop and Field based work
•Carry out routine service and repair work on various vessels from pleasure to commercial craft
•Full workshop overhaul and repairs of marine engines to manufacturer’s standards
•Carry out new machinery and equipment installations
•Working on engines from 2hp – 12,000hp on varying engines
•Experience with engine control systems such as Comap, Deepsea etc
Qualifications and requirement for the Mechanical Engineer:
•This role would suit someone from either the Marine, Industrial, Commercial who has a qualification within Engineering.
•Must hold a Full UK Drivers Licence
•Must be able to travel as required, Main site is in Portland
