Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance is currently searching for a Field Sales Support Specialist in Springfield, IL.
The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region.
Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers.
Developing Business
Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials
Inspection and evaluation of the property
Preparing roof drawings and sketches
Preparing scope of work documents
Preparing proposals
Attending sales calls
Pricing patch and repair jobs
Providing technical expertise
Attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner
Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems
Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs.
Project site visits to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products
Identification of any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications
Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions
Coordinating visits with contractors
Preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative.
QA/ QA+ inspections
Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only).
Identifying and troubleshooting problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof
May occasionally perform patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor.
May also perform minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.
Other Work
This work may include but is not limited to:
Conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs
Taking photographs
Preparing CADD drawings
Delivering or picking up samples, documents or small products from/to architects, owners and contractors.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience.
Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role.
Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required.Qualifications:
Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards.
Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical information, e.g.
professional journals and periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to draft reports, business correspondence and similar documents.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, contractors, and architects.
Ability to communicate business and technical information (e.g.
information relating to status of projects, remediation plans, and customer concerns) to Sales Representative.
Intermediate skills: ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, area, circumference and volume.The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $70,000 and $90,000.

Plan, prepare, and manage bridge survey and inspection activities from initial instruction through to delivery.
Review client specifications, railway standards (e.g., STE7), and relevant technical documentation to ensure full understanding of scope.
Develop work packs including survey briefs, inspection schedules, and resource plans.
Provide technical input into pricing, bid preparation, and programme development.
Technical Documentation & Reporting
Produce accurate Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) tailored to bridge structures, access methods, and traffic/railway constraints.
Compile detailed technical reports including defect descriptions, condition ratings, measurements, and photographic evidence.
Prepare CAD drawings, structural sketches, survey plans, and digital models to support engineering assessments.
Ensure documentation meets client requirements, industry standards, and internal quality procedures.
Administrative & Compliance Duties
Maintain accurate project records, inspection logs, and asset data in line with rail and highway asset management systems.
Support quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and railway/highway standards.
Coordinate with planners, rail possession teams, and highway authorities to secure permits, track access, and traffic management arrangements.
Site-Based Responsibilities
Bridge Survey & Inspection Activities
Carry out general, principal, special, underwater, and confined space bridge inspections.
Collect, record, and interpret survey data, including structural measurements, GPS/topographic data, underwater/bathymetric data, defect mapping, and photographic/video evidence.
Ensure all data is collected to required precision, accuracy, and client specifications.
Rail & Highway Operational Responsibilities
Work safely within rail possessions, line blockages, and under traffic management systems.
Coordinate with Controller of Site Safety (COSS), Lookouts, and Traffic Safety Control Officers (TSCOs).
Ensure plant, equipment, and access/egress routes are set up safely and in line with standards.
Supervision & Team Leadership
Act as Site/Job Supervisor when required, leading small teams during inspections and surveys.
Oversee and mentor junior surveyors/inspectors, ensuring safe and effective work practices.
Manage subcontractors and specialist teams including diving units, rope access technicians, and confined space specialists.
Specialist Operations (as qualified)
Undertake confined space entry and supervision for culverts, tunnels, and substructure chambers.
Conduct underwater bridge inspections and diving operations in accordance with HSE Inshore regulations.
Perform swift-water and flood-risk operations for scour assessments and emergency inspections.
Operate in complex or hazardous environments including high-level structures, tidal areas, and remote locations.
Key Deliverables
Accurate, high-quality bridge inspection reports, CAD drawings, and survey outputs delivered on time.
Compliant execution of rail and highway works, including possession/traffic management adherence and safe system of work deployment.
Effective communication with clients, asset owners, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications and requirements for the Engineering Project Manager – Bridge Surveyor (Survey & Inspection):
Proven experience in bridge survey, inspection, and engineering project management.
Competence in rail and highway operational safety, traffic management, and possession coordination.
Experience producing technical reports, CAD drawings, and survey documentation.
Relevant qualifications in civil/structural engineering, surveying, or equivalent.

This is a remote position.
This role is primarily responsible for cultivating relationships and improving the revenue and profitability of existing and new National Accounts, along with developing the customer strategies within the National Accounts Program required to achieve, in part, the annual Tremco sales and profit plan.

Target new and develop existing National Account opportunities within the Grainger program.
Establish senior level relationships within targeted National Accounts.
Establish agreements, contracts, MSA's for long-term business with National Account customers.

Manage a revenue forecast process for each National Account.

Tremco is currently searching for a National Accounts Manager - Grainger Specialist.
This is a remote position.
This role is primarily responsible for cultivating relationships and improving the revenue and profitability of existing and new National Accounts, along with developing the customer strategies within the National Accounts Program required to achieve, in part, the annual Tremco sales and profit plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific Responsibilities:
Target new and develop existing National Account opportunities within the Grainger program.
Establish senior level relationships within targeted National Accounts.
Establish agreements, contracts, MSA's for long-term business with National Account customers.
Identify perceived gaps in our value offerings that present opportunities for National Account growth.
Manage a revenue forecast process for each National Account.
Communicate closely with National Accounts Director, Business Development team within Tremco regarding National Account activity tied to product/service recommendations, bidding, estimating, quoting, project pipeline, forecast, etc.
Identify and execute all required sales tools and resources required to positively impact National Account customer satisfaction.
Manage margin, revenue growth and account targeting in alignment with Tremco and National Accounts program goals.
Manage, mentor, lead team members aligned to the National Accounts program to ensure program goals are obtained.
Key Activities:
Customer meetings, presentations, and events with Tremco / WTI / Grainger National Account team members.
Develop programs, scopes-of-work, pricing, and contract negotiation for national projects.
Lead weekly / bi-weekly cadence calls with National Account customers and aligned National Account support teams to ensure all internal/external stakeholders are up to date on the status of the program.
Account conflict resolution with corporate contacts and field sales as needed.
Presentations to corporate and sales management on account development progress and success.
Provide coaching to Tremco reps and Tremco corporate account representatives assigned to manage / develop National Account opportunities (communication, messaging, presentation preparation, pricing, best practices, contract negotiations, proposal submission etc.).
Actively communicate with Tremco representatives to ensure they are aware of all National Account responsibilities within their territory (goals and parameters of specific National Account programs; key contract elements; messaging to local site level contacts; expectations, deliverables, and timelines etc.).
Participate in monthly meetings with Tremco/Grainger teams to update on past 30 day / next 30-day activities tied to National Account programs.
Lead discussions with current and future National Account clients regarding OneTremco / WTI's capabilities in the area of new construction and existing infrastructure.
Identify and target National Account clients biggest pain point, and drive education centered around building envelope
solutions (roofing, rooftop safety, HVAC, façade, flooring, air barrier, below-grade waterproofing, parking structures etc.).
Collaborate with WTI's Accounts team and aligned Tremco representatives to build complex, comprehensive long-term asset management plans (i.e.
5 to 10-year capital plans) that leverage cost avoidance opportunities by prioritizing proactive maintenance, repair, and restoration over replacement.
Accountability:
Meet and exceed sales targets / plan based on National Accounts program goals.
Add and develop new accounts within the National Accounts portfolio.
Develop and facilitate senior level relationships at strategic accounts to leverage incremental sales growth.
Ability to support international team and coordinate projects remotely (U.S., Canada, International).
