The Technical Sales Representative ensures that the assigned revenue, margin, and product mix objectives, within the corporate business framework, are met or exceeded.
This is to be accomplished by securing, developing, and managing key architects, designers, general contractors, distributors, subcontractors, and end-user accounts.
This position will also own and manage all related performance and service metrics for the assigned accounts in DC, MD, and VA.
The candidate must live in the territory to support it.
We prefer the candidate to live in the general DC or surrounding areas.
Tremco Sealants manufactures sealants, air barriers, waterproofing membranes, traffic coatings, glazing accessories and more for new construction and restoration.
Our products can be seen on structures from parking garages and mixed-use buildings to single-family homes and high-rises, and are also used in the modular, residential window and door, industrial and manufacturing markets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals and expectations.
Works primarily with existing accounts, while seeking and developing new account opportunities to influence and increase use of Tremco CPG products in assigned territory.
Manages assigned accounts to establish business development opportunities through account penetration, analysis, partnership with key decision makers, and strategic initiatives.
Drives product specifications and project opportunities throughout assigned territory.
Leverages industry knowledge, marketplace dynamics and key relationships both internally and externally to develop trusted partnerships and advisory relationships with customers with a focus on problem identification, exploration and resolution.
Annually prepares and delivers strategic business/territory plans for each customer with monthly forecasts.
Consistently and efficiently follows the standard sales process to identify prospects and decision makers, gain customer commitment, predict sales probability, and effectively close deals.
Manages day-to-day contact, exchanges information succinctly, truthfully and ethically while addressing issues directly and tactfully in pursuit of mutual interest and benefit.
Develops and delivers technical, high quality and directed digital collateral, product prospectus, presentations, and business correspondence in support of the overall sales process.
Collaborates with senior staff to coordinate and execute product knowledge training sessions with internal and external customers, as appropriate, utilizing supplier representatives.
Leverages all available technology on a daily basis for productivity and effective lead generation, account maintenance, sales and expense tracking, forecasting, account reviews, customer contact, presentations, etc.
Works collaboratively with internal support resources to develop teamwork through cooperation, trust and mutual respect.
Attends and presents business unit products and services at industry conventions and trade shows.
Maintains extensive product knowledge in all product lines and service offerings.
Adheres to and enforces all company policies, pricing, and operational procedures with special attention to the professional image of the company.
Performs other related duties as required, requested or assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management and 2-3 years of construction or industry experience OR
Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of construction or industry experience
EXPERIENCE
Two to four years related experience and/or training
Construction knowledge (i.e., waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular, glazing etc.)
Basic knowledge of product chemistries
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to travel extensivelywithin assigned territory.
Must be well organized,self-motivated, with outstandingwritten and verbalcommunication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Project Administrator Development Lead
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Project Administrator Development Lead is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for all employees assigned or transitioning into the Project Administrator role.
This position ensures new and existing team members are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to successfully perform the duties of a Project Administrator.
In addition to training responsibilities, the Trainer will serve as a fully capable backup for the Project Administrator role, stepping in as needed to provide coverage and ensure business continuity.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The General Contracting (GC) Manager oversees and manages all aspects of the General Contracting business (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc.) within the assigned region.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Construction Management Associate is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager in all aspects associated with a construction-related project.
This will include but is not limited to, General Contracting projects, larger-scale Contracting Patch and Repair Projects, TremCares, etc.
This will involve working with the Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, or WTI Technician assigned to the project to ensure the project is effectively executed and completed safely and all contractual obligations are adhered to.
Additional duties will include participating in onsite meetings, scope of work development, proposal review, specification review, completion of project schedules, assembling project submittals, obtaining building permits, project closeout documents, and other duties as directed by the Construction Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for contributing to and validating proposals and specifications.
Conceptual Phase (specification development, establishment of milestone dates) Program Planning Phase Design Phase Conduct Pre-Proposal Meetings Proposal Phase Construction Phase Conduct pre-construction Effective Close-out Cost Estimates and schedules Use of ebuilder for all project documentation per policy manual. Assist the Construction Manager in tracking project costs, budget variances, and profitability. Accountable for Quality Assurance. Ensure the subcontractor has submitted the required documents. Establish timelines and goals. Manage key metrics and report as required. Coordinate with Program Managers, Project Administrators, Project Estimators, Specification Writers, Sales Representatives, and RBM when needed. Assist in the review of submitted proposals and contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance. Review of line-item generated proposal documents. Direct Project Superintendents as needed. Pre-Proposal Stage: Conducts Pre-Proposal Meeting and distributes completed Pre-Proposal Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Assist the Construction Manager in reviewing proposals. Prepare Proposal Documents as directed by the Construction Manager. Pre-Construction Stage: Publish the Project Schedule. Assists Construction Manager in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Engages with the Project Superintendent to provide necessary project information. Conducts Pre-Construction Meetings and distributes completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Obtain Building Permit when required. Construction Stage: Review Daily Inspection Forms and ensure they are distributed to all applicable parties and uploaded into project files. Visits job site as necessary or directed by the Construction Manager. Conduct weekly Progress Meetings, virtual or onsite, and distribute meeting minutes to all appliable parties.
Maintain Project Schedule and update on a weekly basis. Perform site audits as appropriate. Review subcontractor payment requests with the Construction Manager. Assemble AIA billing applications for the Construction Manager's review and approval. Assist the Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, Subcontractor, Owner, or Sales Representative as needed. Close Out Stage: Assist the Construction Manager in coordinating the final inspection. Ensure all required documents are uploaded into the project files.
