Responsible to aid foreman in tracking and monitoring project inventory. Maintains highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting positive image. Has knowledge/understanding and performs work in compliance with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e.
OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, etc. Provides management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems. Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and use of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Foreman. Understands and executes proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Foreman and/or Commercial Business Manager. Maintains ethical business conduct.

Follows batch work instructions in order to manufacture quality products. Prepares disperser and letdown tank for production, including any necessary equipment clean up. Monitors and controls high-speed disperser, mixer, pumps, flow meters and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions. Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved. Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order.
Determine raw materials needed. Housekeeping - Clean up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program. May assist in other departments such as filling, and material handling or help make sample batches Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor Responsible for Dust collector cleanouts when required. Test samples of materials or products to ensure compliance with specifications, using test equipment.
Start machines to mix or blend ingredients; then allow them to mix for specified times.
Operate or tend blending equipment to mix or blend any of a wide variety of materials such as chemicals, color pigments, or volatile ingredients. Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Stop mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained, and open valves and start pumps to transfer mixtures. Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing. Add or mix chemicals and ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices. Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance to established standards. Operate all associated packaging equipment to support the filling lines.
This equipment includes and is not limited to scales, tubs, forklifts, dust collectors, hand fills, and all other support positions in the department.
Use proper BOM (Bill of Materials) and setup to specifications to process orders.
