Director, Engineering oversees the development and implementation of the manufacturing processes to maintain production capability, capacity to support corporate business objectives, capital plan and continuous improvement program.
Ensures the engineering team works cohesively across all departments.

Planning and Coordinating Capital Plan
Plan, coordinate and develop the short- and long-range capital plan for the operations group.

Best Practices
Support MS 168 and Tier Management process to assure robust continuous improvement process.
Assure identification of best practices and equipment are utilized across all plants.
Coordinate plant engineering assets to best utilize talents.
Capacity Planning
Develop and maintain a capacity utilization and growth plan to assure manufacturing capabilities support corporate growth and innovation.
Assure assets are utilized and balanced across all facilities.
Work with plant engineering to develop, justify and implement plans.

Establish strong lines of communication with the Plant Managers.

Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
10+ years of experience in engineering or related technical fields.

AutoCAD, Microsoft Office software, spreadsheets, and financial management skills;

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Kettle Operator is responsible for processing Tremco Sealants and/or Roofing products by carefully reading and following the process order card.
The operator is responsible for area readiness to produce which includes safety and collection and preparation of materials like pails, drums, and other chemical raw materials.
One batch is complete the operator will test for quality, adjust as needed to assure specification is met by following written standard operating procedures, and then fill product into specified packaging and palletize pails or drums.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines using control boards, Human Machine Interface (HMI computer touch screen) or semi-automatic equipment.
Draw samples of products, and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and ensure that standards are met.
Use appropriate scales or measurement devices to add materials to the kettle as specified by batch process orders.
Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
Monitor control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipment.
Accurately record production and downtime via written documentation.
EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience is required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic Computer Skills required (Windows Familiarity).
Lean and VFM (Visual Factory Management) skills and/or willingness to train.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.

The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations of the production area for designated shift.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Maintenance Technician supports and ensures the completion of day-to-day maintenance activities at the plant.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Supervise the quality process to ensure the production environment has what is needed to meet key business/manufacturing metrics which satisfy customer needs and product standards.
Key responsibilities include spending time on the production floor, performing quality checks on finished product and raw materials, overseeing manufacturing processes and controls, striving for continuous improvement, and supporting ISO quality systems and compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all quality related functions in the plant.
Participate in the development of specifications for processing, products, and materials.
Perform all required quality tests for raw materials, work in progress, and finished products. Ensure that quality checks are performed at the required frequency and targets, additionally periodically evaluate target levels, and amend as appropriate. Regularly audit product and process to ensure standard work executed on the floor and in the lab.
Ensure that any non-conforming product is properly identified for a decision on disposition by Management. Track, report, and reduce manufacturing waste. Work directly with purchasing personnel on vendor quality or supply issues; assist with vendor selection and qualification.
Lead ISO Quality systems. Research customer complaints including but not limited to engaging in root cause investigation, suggesting corrective action, implementing actions, and providing follow up while following the SAP quality process and maintaining metrics.
Manage all lab functions and staff, while assuring the safety and integrity of those operations and employees.
Maintain all testing equipment and ensure that it is in proper working order. Organize and maintain related files, logs, and reports. Develop quality standards/test/inspection plan for raw materials and finished product (specification, sample size and frequency) as well as a robust training process. Develop lean and sustainable saving plans and facilitate small K generation and implementation.
Lead all product compliance activities to ensure certification.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality related programs such as lean, ISO, six sigma, etc.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Attain and maintain all related Health and Safety Certifications.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with manufacturing regulations and reporting methods. Knowledge of the production process and team interactions. Analytical acumen for compiling and analyzing data. Ability to plan, organize, follow through and prioritize. Ability to interact with all levels within organization. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Quality and safety oriented, attention to details. Training in quality programs (lean, ISO, Six Sigma)
