While the position is predominantly desk-based, deep technical knowledge and practical experience in machining processes are essential.

Key Responsibilities: Machine Shop Manager
- Lead and supervise the machine shop team, ensuring work is delivered on time, to spec, and to a high standard.
- Plan and schedule workload in line with customer requirements and operational resources.
- Monitor workshop performance and compliance with quality, safety, and operational procedures.
- Provide day-to-day technical support and training to machinists and engineering staff.
- Liaise with customers to understand technical requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Review and sign off job estimates and quotations, working closely with admin and sales teams.
- Conduct regular staff reviews, manage attendance, and maintain team discipline and morale.
- Oversee job records, inspection documentation, and production data to ensure full traceability.
- Manage stock levels in coordination with stores to ensure timely availability of materials and parts.
- Champion a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environment, enforcing PPE and safety policies.
- Maintain and manage all machinery, tools, and workshop equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Monitor workshop budgets, controlling spend on labour, spares, and materials.
- Generate accurate and timely operational reports for senior management.
- Be available for occasional overtime or out-of-hours support as required.
Skills & Experience Required: Machine Shop Manager
- Proven background in machining or mechanical engineeringideally within aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors.
- Significant experience in a workshop supervisory or management role.
- Deep knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and tools.
- Exposure to welding and balancing processes would be an advantage.
- Strong mechanical and electrical understanding preferred.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate and support others.
- Confident communicator, capable of liaising with internal departments and external customers.
- High level of computer literacy, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable with quoting and job costing processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all quality related functions in the plant.
Participate in the development of specifications for processing, products, and materials.
Perform all required quality tests for raw materials, work in progress, and finished products.

Lead ISO Quality systems.

Manage all lab functions and staff, while assuring the safety and integrity of those operations and employees.
Maintain all testing equipment and ensure that it is in proper working order.
Organize and maintain related files, logs, and reports.
Develop quality standards/test/inspection plan for raw materials and finished products (specification, sample size and frequency) as well as a robust training process.
Develop lean and sustainable saving plans and facilitate small K generation and implementation.
Lead all product compliance activities to ensure certification.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
A High School diploma is required.
Bachelor's degree in quality, chemistry, chemical engineering, durable manufacturing or related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality related programs such as lean, ISO, six sigma, etc.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Attain and maintain all related Health and Safety Certifications.

Position Summary:
Bridge between our customers and the sales team, ensuring seamless order processing, proactive communication, and superior service.
Engage directly with customers to provide guidance on product selection, manage orders, coordinate logistics, and resolve inquiries efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels and work with key individuals to forecast and maintain the supply and demand.
Essential Functions:
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone and digital channels, ensuring a positive and professional experience. • Provide product recommendations, order guidance, and proactive support to enhance the customers' journey. • Follow up with customers on order status, shipping timelines, and any changes to ensure transparency. • Address customer concerns with empathy and urgency, collaborating with internal teams to provide timely resolutions. • Monitor inventory levels and recommend stock adjustments based on customer demand. • Support Inventory Planning and Supply Chain Ops initiatives to align supply with customer demand. • Accurately enter and track orders, ensuring correct pricing, discounts, commission splits, and shipping details. • Utilize selling skills to offer product upgrades, suggest alternatives, and introduce new solutions that meet customer needs. • Work within customer portals to process orders in alignment with specific requirements. • Assist sales representatives with account management, sales initiatives, and customer outreach efforts. • Partner with the supply chain, transportation, and production teams to coordinate order fulfillment and ensure on-time delivery. • Liaise with freight carriers and warehouse teams to arrange cost-efficient and timely shipments. • Actively participate in sales and customer service initiatives aimed at enhancing the customer experience. • Identify opportunities for process improvements to drive efficiency and better serve customers. • Contribute to a customer-centric culture by sharing insights and best practices with the team. • Perform additional duties as assigned. • Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Degree or equivalent 2-year Business degree, or minimum 1 year of Customer Service or Sales Support experience.
Minimum of 2 years' experience handling product inventory.
Experience with Excel, data analysis, and inventory management, preferred
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period up to 8 hours in a day.
No unusual environmental, lifting, or exertion requirements are associated with this position.
