DAP is hiring Product Marketing Intern for Summer 2025.
Responsibilities
Label Master: Create a folder with all print outs / digital of all Foam primary and secondary pkg as a master file for easy reference Master Application Matrix: Create a master application matrix for 1K and 2K foam. End User Database: Gather all the users thus far that we have had touch points and create a database for future contact.
Also possibly create a list of foam insulation contractors in MD area for potential contact / resource Demo Day Spray Display Pieces: 1) Example: putting together cross section/ physical displays of foam for demo days.
2) Also think up new ideas for demos. Comp Grids (sell sheets) Take existing / old "kill" sheets and update them with new data and visuals. Blue Card Ideation: Think up potential blue cards for Foam category innovation / along with pulling ideation stimulation images for when it comes time to create the PPT for the CREATE session. National Sales Meeting 2025: Assist all round (spoof video ideation, sample ordering, live demos, booth set up etc). Deep Dive HVAC: Analyze HVAC category: find white space (potential NPD/innovation areas), application matrix. New channel exploration: Find new ways to use foam (outside the box thinking) - Kit Ideas: Cross category kit ideas. Collaborative Intern Project: Across all Categories, Comprehensive look at all stages of a residential build and line up all DAP projects that are applicable at every stage Goal: create a master visual of where and when DAP projects can be used at each stage.
May be opportunity to find white space.
Could be used in Customer presentation.Alternate: Categorize DAP projects by Trade (drywaller, framer, flooring, fenestration contractors, plumbing, electrical etc) and line up all the DAP products that each trade will use.
Again, would be a master file plus opportunity to find white space.
Requirements:
Major: Business, Marketing, Communication. College classification (freshman, sophomore, junior or senior): Junior or Senior Confident collaborating & communicating with other marketers in different roles. The summer intern would work under mentorship of a senior scientist / Supervisor to perform collaborative research for development adhesives or repair products with unique and differentiated properties.
The intern will work on Study effect of graphene on water resistance and tensile properties of adhesive, 2 weeks. Study effect of graphene on lap shear test and substrate of adhesive, 2 weeks. Study effect of graphene on rheology of adhesive, 2 weeks. Study effect of preparation method on performances of adhesive, 2 weeks. Validate and optimize for the most feasible formula in terms of performances and cost, 3 weeks. Review, prepare for final presentation, 1 week
Pay

Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemistry, materials science, polymer science, or related discipline from an accredited institution with a total GPA of 3.0 or higher. Completed a minimum of 4 semesters by the start of the internship. Available to work the entirety of the 12-week summer internship program in 2025. 6-12 months of practical laboratory experience in polymers, chemical/polymer processing, advanced analytical and materials characterization. Previous relevant intern experience or co-op with company or university. Use of designed experiments and statistical analysis of experimental results. Demonstrated scientific and technical acumen, with ability to make connections between science/technology and real-world concerns. Strong problem-solving skills. Position Summary:

Qualifications: Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards. The EH&S Specialist job functions include but not limited to implementation and maintenance of environment, health, and safety programs at DAP's Dallas Facility (75%) and DAP's Garland DC (25%).
Key responsibilities include, identifying, developing and implementing plant safety directives in conjunction with Legal, HR and Operations departments.
Assist facilities with; safety & environmental compliance obligations, develop and manage implementation of directives, coordination of worker's compensation objectives, audit and assist in correction of all deficiencies of facilities for adherence to compliance objectives and directives, all site compliance activities, assist with facility required inspections and investigations, some travel will be required to assist other facilities will be required.
Responsibilities
Identify and Communicate Compliance Obligations
Monitor regulatory developments in environment/health/safety area for new/revised compliance obligations, areas of potential risk/liability, and advise plant leadership regarding these issues. Assist with development of health/safety compliance strategies in conjunction with corporate directives. Develop/distribute plain language health/safety compliance requirement directives to plant mgmt.

Network with industry peers, via participation in trade associations and seminars.
Act in a Leadership Role with Plant Personnel in Fulfilling Health/Safety Compliance Obligations Provide direction, review and oversee all safety systems.
Identify, communicate and assist in the development of Best Practices for injury prevention.
Ensure reporting/record-keeping is complete, accurate and timely per OSHA and state agency requirements, insurer's requirements and DAP mandated requirements.
Prepare and/or approve employee training materials on health/safety, conduct training where plant resources are inadequate, or where centralized training responsibility is appropriate.
Ensure Adherence to Safety Compliance Obligations and Directives
Conduct monthly issue review sessions with Corporate EH&S and Plant Managers to assure facility stay in compliance and maintain safety performance objectives.
Conduct and Manage Incident Analysis Program Lead, assist and maintain incident reporting procedures to DAP Corporate and RPM.
Evaluate trends in incidents.
Recommend corrective actions to minimize/eliminate undesirable trends.
Incorporate accident prevention programs into safety directive.
Maintain Environmental reporting requirements Keep accurate records on plant emission calculations to maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting submission requirements.
Assure plants stay in compliance with required external and internal reporting requirements.
Working knowledge of TRI, Tier II, SPCC and SWPPP is requested.
Requirements:
EHS Degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety or similar field. 3+ years of relevant experience.
Computer software familiarity. Working knowledge of state and federal regulations. Experience in research skills. Certified Safety Professional preferred Must be Bilingual (English/ Spanish)

Short Form Video Creation
Description: Use identified product and topic priority list to storyboard, film, and edit short-form video content for social media scheduling.
Goal: Create and schedule 15 pieces of approved content by August 2025.
Keyword Identification for Social Media Use
Description: Work with the brand team to identify a list of key words for each product category that can be leveraged in content creation.
Goal: Incorporate keywords into AI platform to ensure use in social media copy by August 2025.
Requirements
Major: Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Evaluate trends in incidents.
Recommend corrective actions to minimize/eliminate undesirable trends.
Incorporate accident prevention programs into safety directive.
Maintain Environmental reporting requirements Keep accurate records on plant emission calculations to maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting submission requirements.
Assure plants stay in compliance with required external and internal reporting requirements.
Working knowledge of TRI, Tier II, SPCC and SWPPP is requested.
Requirements:
EHS Degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety or similar field. 3+ years of relevant experience.
