The role will consist of handling a varied caseload, with files including death by dangerous/careless driving, causing serious injury by careless driving, drink driving, speeding, and more.
You will work with insurer, corporate, and privately funded clients and collaborate with some of the UK's leading experts and King's Counsel on high-profile cases and inquests.
What we are looking for:
Experience in defending motor crimes or relevant prosecution experience.
Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System (England and Wales) and motoring offence defences.
Strong communication and case preparation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
All levels of PQE will be considered, including NQ Solicitors and Legal Executives.
Experience of inquests is essential.

As a Solicitor Advocate, you will:
Work as part of an in-house advocacy team providing high-quality representation and legal services.

Support senior lawyers with complex cases and client projects.

You will work across a varied regulatory case load which will include business crime, health & safety investigations & prosecutions, environmental work, inquests, high value frauds and much more.
Under close supervision from the head of department, you will have every opportunity to further your professional development with a firm that has always allowed lawyers to progress in line with their aptitude and ability.
The successful applicant will enjoy working on a diverse caseload and will have excellent attention to detail, given the technical nature of the work.
You might be an NQ level applicant who has completed and enjoyed a regulatory seat or perhaps you have already amassed some PQE in regulatory law and are looking for an opportunity to further your skills or make a name for yourself away from the constraints of a larger department.
