Holt Engineering is looking for a PCB Inspector for a growing manufacturing business in Fareham!
As a PCB Inspector you will play a pivotal role within the business, you will be working within goods in, stage and final inspection of electrical & electronic assemblies.
This role is temporary to permanent and paying £12.21- £14.50ph (DOE)
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30 -16:30 and Friday 7:30 to 12:30.
Key Responsibilities for PCB Inspector
- Inspection of Electrical & Electronic Assemblies.
- Calibrated Tool control issuing & approval.
- Assist with First Article Inspection
- Assist in the resolution of quality-related problems.
- To work with the Quality Controller to develop, improve & maintain quality standards across the areas of responsibility.
- To work with the Quality Controller
- Proactively advise management of any issues
- Provide QA support as necessary.
- To assist the Quality Controller in the diagnosis of quality problems.
To be considered for this PCB Inspector role:
- IPC Trained would be advantageous but not essential
- Ability to read & understand complex Engineering drawings & instructions.
- Previous experience inspecting electronics is essential
- Structured and logical approach to problem-solving.

Our client's team is looking for new team members to build a team for a blockchain network with a focus on facilitating money movement and enabling asset tokenization that will allow our clients to start building on blockchain.As a Blockchain Developer, part of an innovation hub, you will be responsible for developing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications and smart contracts on the network.
You will play a crucial role in our team, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of blockchain-based projects using blockchain network and its smart contract platform.
Day-to-day Activities of a Blockchain Developer:
Development & Implementation - Collaborate with the onshore team to develop and implement Stellar based applications and Soroban smart contracts.
Project Planning & Management - Work closely with PM(s) to understand project requirements, deliverables and participate in daily stand-up to report progress and identify blockers.
Research and Innovation - Conduct ongoing research on advancements in Stellar toolkit & ecosystem.
Join their discord to keep on top of announcements.
QA and Testing - Develop and execute test cases for applications and smart contracts.
This is particularly important in Blockchain as bugs or vulnerabilities in the code cannot be easily rectified once the contract is deployed.
Documentation - Create comprehensive documentation for developed applications in their respective README.md file in the Azure DevOps repository.
Requirements:
Passion for blockchain technology and its potential to drive social and economic change is a must.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in blockchain development, specifically with the blockchain network.
Strong proficiency in web application development using technologies like JavaScript, React, Node.js.
Knowledge of JS Game Engine would be preferred (Babylon, Phaser JS or Blend4Web)
Experience in smart contract development, preferably on Soroban Smart Contracts platform.
Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, Stellar consensus protocol, and decentralized application (dApp) architecture.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fully remote environment.
