Holt Engineering are recruiting for an Experienced Assembler to join our client based in Horsham. Looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to work within the electronics sector.
The Assembler role is a Night shift working Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am totalling 37.5hours a week.
The role is paying £12.21 with 25% shift allowance (£15.26) increasing to £12.65 after 12 weeks on site (£15.81 with shift allowance)
The duties for this Assembler position will include:
- Assembling, testing and calibrating manufactured parts
- Working within the SMT area
- Soldering
- PCB assembly
- Assembly of small electronic components
- Assembly of external units
- Following drawings and using hand and power tools
- Quality checking
- Packing
To be considered for this Assembler role you will need:
- Previous assembly experience, Electronic/ PCB would be advantageous
- Ability to use various tools
- PC literate as you will be using PC programmes to test and calibrate
- Comfortable with manual handling

The Role
Service, calibrate, and maintain automotive equipment at customer sites
Install new equipment and deliver start-up training
Support the Technical Sales team with product demonstrations
Complete admin tasks and update the CRM system

Who We're Looking For
Strong mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering background
Field service experience preferred (but not essential if you have transferable skills)
Health & safety aware, with a customer-first mindset
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel daily with some overnight stays
No automotive experience? No problem.
We welcome candidates from construction equipment, agricultural machinery, off-highway, marine, commercial vehicle, or capital equipment sectors.
If you've got field service experience and a desire to learn, we'll give you the tools and training to succeed.
