Hours: Monday to Saturday 0700 - 1730

Are you a skilled Plater Welder or Fabricator looking for your next opportunity? Were working with a well-established and growing engineering firm in Wissington who are looking to add to their friendly team.
This role offers great rates of pay, steady day shifts, and the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.
What Youll Be Doing
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Working on site
- Plating and welding steel up to 15mm
- Fabricating components to a high standard
- Reporting to the Fabrication Manager
- Occasionally working independently on varied jobs and materials
What We're Looking For
- Apprentice-trained or time-served welder/fabricator
- Previous experience working on site
- Strong background in plater welding and fabrication
- Confident reading technical drawings
- 3+ years experience working with mid to heavy gauge mild steel
- Fitting experience is a plus, but not essential
- Someone who can hit the ground running and work on their own initiative

About the Role This role is ideal for someone with practical care experience who is ready to transition into a compliance-focused position.
You'll be responsible for supporting frontline staff, ensuring regulatory standards are met, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Location: Swindon Salary: £26,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00) Some flexibility may be required based on business needs
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and review alerts and care notes using our digital care management system
Audit documentation and ensure compliance with CQC regulations
Identify and address gaps in care delivery
Escalate concerns to appropriate personnel and follow up on actions
Support and guide staff through constructive conversations
Promote best practices and quality assurance across the care team
Conduct community-based shadowing to observe care delivery and align policy with practice
Assist in developing action plans based on audit findings
Requirements
Minimum 1 year hands-on care experience (ideally community-based)
Familiarity with CQC standards, Fundamental Standards, and person-centred care plans
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to confidently and professionally challenge poor practice
Comfortable using computer systems and technology
Friendly, proactive, and reliable with strong attention to detail
