GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain assigned machine(s).
Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards.
Ensure product meets certain tolerances and specifications.
Perform routine inspections per quality standards.
Understand production instructions.
Maintain accurate paperwork.
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment.
Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.
Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards.
Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements.
Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.
Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.

Arranges for movement of freight to consignee/agent & updates the system with information. Route Shuttle Drivers to maximize the efficiency of moving the Production stock to the DC. Processes necessary invoices to appropriate office for payment. Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments into the company's ERP system and into the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers Monitor the supply of packaging materials and requisition additional supplies as required Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages Identify errors on packing lists & invoices and correct them In conjunction with senior supervisor will be responsible for all outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. Using ERP System, prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight. Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer and the WTI Crew.
Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit to the Supervisors as applicable Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any WTI project.
This includes but is not limited to communication with: Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule WTI crew members to discuss scope of work and daily tasks The customer pre-arrival, at arrival and at completion of the day's work WTI Supervisor on schedule changes, project, and crew updates, etc. Efficient project management will include managing crew start and end times and production rates, ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently, and completing the project per the scope or work or specification. The WTI Foreman will complete an end of day and/or end of project walk through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site.

These items will include, detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases are all recording daily. Ensure that all WTI Field Reps will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. The Field Resource Foreman is responsible for the ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensure Quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely. Per pricing procedures review each field service project over $5,000 for pricing accuracy. Submit all projects over $20,000 to the WTI Supervisor prior to submitting to the Sales Rep or customer. Manage, monitor, and document performance of Field Resource Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with WTI Field Resource Supervisor and Human Resources as needed. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Regional Manager.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum five years' experience in the commercial roofing industry. Must be thoroughly familiar with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems as well as metal and other steep slope roofing systems and how to properly repair them. Accountable for the development and implementation of programs in the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security areas of manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Comprehensive EHS Programs: Oversee all safety and environmental initiatives within the plant, aligning them with government regulations and company standards.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance EHS performance. Compliance Assurance: Ensure rigorous compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as corporate EHS practices.
Act as a liaison between the plant and regulatory agencies to maintain a transparent and cooperative relationship. Project Management: Identify, design, and execute EHS-related projects to address safety and environmental challenges.
Take charge of corrective actions for any EHS concerns that arise. Training and Education: Conduct EHS training sessions to raise awareness among employees about safety protocols, environmental responsibilities, and regulatory compliance. Emergency Preparedness: Lead the development and maintenance of the Emergency Preparedness Program, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices. Inspections and Audits: Coordinate and lead both internal and external inspections and audits.
Address findings promptly and develop strategies to continuously improve EHS performance. Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams by leveraging your expertise gained from formal and informal training.
Empower employees with EHS insights and best practices. EHS Reporting: Compile data for submission related to environmental permits (air, water & hazardous waste), safety statistics and corporate EHS submissions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related professional field of study. 7 plus years' experience working in EHS or related field, including experience leading the development and implementation of environmental and safety programs in a manufacturing or chemical operation. Multi-site experience preferred. SAP experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CSP (certified safety professional) and/or other related EHS certifications a plus.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong knowledge and understanding of State and Federal EHS Regulations. Proficient in environmental air permits including QDRs, PERs and PTOs. The position provides support to leadership for all maintenance staff to drive excellence and maximize effort.

Report incidents, near misses, and any non-conformances through the appropriate channels.
