GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Act as the subject matter expert for Tremco North American manufacturing facilities to continuously improve production efficiency and operational excellence (MS168).
Develop, execute, implement, promote, monitor, measure, and improve consistent continuous improvement practices.

Monitors activity of continuous improvement teams and team champions; alerts management of additional support needed to achieve desired results.
Oversees the development of new testing tools and measurement methods and systems to ensure products meet quality standards.
Develops MS168 leaders and systems to positively impact operational efficiencies including but not limited to creating and administering monitoring systems and reviews, aligning assessments to human systems capabilities, etc.
Coaches and develops champions at manufacturing locations to foster a continuous improvement mindset.
Facilitates and leads the continuous improvement process by identifying training needs and providing education and mentoring in problem solving methodology, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
Provides training, tools, and logistical assistance for continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluates the performance or ability of employees to understand and apply lean principles.
Collaborates with Environmental, Health and Safety resources to ensure continuity and support for related objectives.
Maintains current knowledge of lean performance principles and practices and keeps the organization informed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree (B.
A.) from four-year college or university in manufacturing, operations, engineering or another related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
5 years related experience in manufacturing, process management, continuous improvement, analytics, project management, etc.
Experience with Value Stream Mapping, facilitating Kaizen events, implementing lean tools and processes such as: continuous flow, set up reduction, pull systems, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S practices.
Experience developing and delivering employee training programs.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Full working knowledge of Lean Concepts and TQM process evaluation techniques with demonstrated success in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with related technology systems i.e.

Responsible for unloading trailers with inbound deliveries and checking/completing supporting documents. Responsible for the safe and accurate loading of all outbound freight. Position Summary
The Temporary Operator can work in our Felt Department or in our Roofing Department AT OUR Cleveland Plant.
They start-up, troubleshoot, and operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and routinely while achieving or exceeding standard levels of production, according to specifications.
This position can turn into a regular union position if the employee completes the probationary period, successfully.
During the probationary period, this position will be on 1st Shift.

Develops product line presentations and participates in training meetings for customers and company sales force. Actively participates with Industry organizations where appropriate. Assists the product and technical group with technical support, including assisting with the product group helpdesk.
Visits construction sites to observe, collect, and report application procedures and deficiencies.
Manages the system engineered to assist the sales force with national inquiries.

Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline. 5 or more years of hands-on experience in new product development and tooling design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical systems with proven track record of successful new product design and development, preferably in durable consumer markets. Experienced in plastic injection molding and plastic parts design. Proven leadership in managing new product development, start to finish. Extensive knowledge of product design, materials selection and manufacturing processes and direct experience working with a broad array of materials, preferably for consumer goods products. Excellent working knowledge of Computer Aided Design modelling concepts and software proficient with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D part modeling, drawing, and assembly creation of the mechanical components. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals and expectations.
Works primarily with existing accounts, while seeking and developing new account opportunities to influence and increase use of Tremco CPG products in assigned territory.
Manages assigned accounts to establish business development opportunities through account penetration, analysis, partnership with key decision makers, and strategic initiatives.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.
