Job Description
The Chemist II specializes in advanced analyses, developing or modifying testing methods, and presenting findings to various audiences and segments.
The role requires problem-solving, strong analytical, and communication skills with a focus on partnership collaboration with field sales in both lumber and farm & forest segments.
The Chemist II can independently perform a wider range of tasks and take on a greater level of responsibility within the laboratory setting.
Main Responsibilities
Technical Response Investigate customer/sales factors for formula design and other technical elements, including but not limited to integration with field trial activities (primarily, not exclusively for established portfolios). Perform complex chemical testing using various instruments and techniques. Conduct field stability studies and assess the performance of formulations under various conditions, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. Maintain meticulous documentation of formulation processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Reporting & Communication Prepare monthly reports on projects/initiatives, results vs expected performance metrics. Communicate with the leadership team weekly on priorities and expectations. Coordinate, update, and communicate quarterly with team members on company goals. Establish collaborative leadership relationships within Lumber and Farm & Forest businesses. Knowledge Contribute to the development of profitable platforms across all segments/markets. Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices with functional teams. Serve as a subject matter mentor, providing guidance on formulation best practices, stability testing, and regulatory compliance with other department chemists. Teamwork Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing, to facilitate seamless product transitions from lab to production. Contribute to organizational goals by exploring opportunities to add value to product portfolios across all segments. Manage project timelines to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
Key Qualifications

Role: Qualified Conveyancer
Salary: Up to £48,000
Location: Wirral based
I am currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join a well-regarded and established conveyancing team in their Wirral office.
This is a full-time, office-based position, and you will be a key contributor to a busy and dynamic department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong and comprehensive knowledge of residential conveyancing.
A minimum of 3 years PQE in a similar role, or at least 3 years of experience as a conveyancing case handler, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Residential Conveyancing to manage a diverse caseload of residential matters, serving both private clients and investors.
- Oversee files from the initial instruction through to post-completion, ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained at all stages.
- Draft and approve legal documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Provide exceptional client care, maintaining clear and effective communication with clients, colleagues, and third parties throughout the process.
- Utilise Microsoft Office and case management systems proficiently to ensure efficient handling of cases.
- Consistently meet targets and deadlines, contributing to the teams overall performance and success.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Minimum 3 years experience as an Account Executive, Broker or similar role within the Insurance Industry- ideally with experience in SME Commercial Combined policies.
To have strong influencing, negotiating, problem solving and analytical skills.
New Business skills and a detailed knowledge of the core range of products & services
Sales and service process knowledge, particularly sales through service
Face to Face relationship building is key as you will be dealing with longstanding clients.
