Position Summary:
As an Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in both financial reporting and strategic analysis.
This hybrid role focuses on the technical rigor of corporate and commercial.
You will support tax compliance, internal controls, and audit processes while also delivering actionable financial insights to guide business decisions.
Key Responsibilities Accounting & Tax Support
- Oversee preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, particularly for tax-related accounts.- Support tax filings and audits in collaboration with third-party consultants.- Maintain and analyze tax-related accounts and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.- Execute internal controls and support internal/external audit deliverables.
Revenue Recognition

- Partner with business group leaders, sales teams, and other departments to provide financial insights and support.- Lead or contribute to special projects involving new product launches, licensing agreements, and business planning.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.- Prepare and communicate ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and financial graphics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA, MBA, or CPA candidate preferred.- 5-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP, Vertex, BW, and HFM preferred.- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and a collaborative team player.
Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000, bonus eligible

JOB PURPOSE:

JOB PURPOSE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Grow overall flooring business by working with contractors & suppliers.
Identify concrete coating contractors and develop strong relationships with key contacts.
Work with team members to grow and develop flooring distribution business.

Facilitate product recommendations, application, performance and color.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous Resinous or Industrial Concrete Coatings Flooring Industry Experience is required (sales & installing)
Must currently reside in the assigned territory and be able to travel 40-50% of the time.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and have maintained a motor vehicle record within acceptable limits as prescribed by Rust-Oleum.
Periodic evening and weekend hours required for Co-Op Shows and customer events.
Must possess exceptional follow-up skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills - dealing with customer complaints in a timely manner to identify appropriate solutions.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in a written or oral format.

Conduct building envelope condition assessments, forensic investigations, and failure analysis to determine the root cause of problems and develop appropriate remediation strategies. Coordinate on-site schedules, condition requirements, and the overall phasing of work. Provide technical expertise in building envelope systems, including roofing, waterproofing, and wall systems.
Execute take-offs of construction documents Travels to project sites to review for proposal development. Coordinate with Tremco Sales Representatives and WTI Construction Manager. Skillfully prepare estimates by meticulously studying proposals, plans, specifications, and addendums by identifying labor, material, and time requirements. Conduct detailed takeoffs for building envelope repairs, guaranteeing a comprehensive grasp of the project scope. Assemble and present estimates with precision, incorporating numerical and descriptive information.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Four plus years of experience in the building envelope industry.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or CAD drawings. Ability to travel to managed local job sites weekly or as required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams. Familiarity with Project Management Software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, follow through on assignments with minimal direction, set priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities, and perform under deadlines with frequent interruptions. 1-3 years of construction estimation experience. Personal commitment to safety, integrity, and continual professional development.
Ability to use estimating software, advanced take-off tools, and other computer programs. The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $72,000 and $90,000.
