Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Mechanical Engineer.
In this role, you will be instrumental in the design and development of complex electro-mechanical systems, working within a mixed-discipline team to deliver high-quality solutions for our defence clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electro-mechanical mechanisms and precision machinery.
- Perform classical engineering analysis on designs, including stress, fatigue, and vibration using conventional analysis and computer simulations.
- Produce detailed engineering and assembly drawings for manufacturing and support lab testing to verify design outputs.
- Assist in developing engineering reports, failure investigations, and other documentation to meet customer requirements.

- Create designs using 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering role.
- Experience in designing complex mechanisms and structures for harsh environments, ideally within the defence sector.
- Proven experience in designing systems from concept through to production.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to design solutions for gear drives, bearings, and motors.
- Proficient in using SolidWorks CAD system.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and internal teams.
Desirable:
- Experience working in defence or related sectors (e.g., scientific equipment, special purpose machinery).
- Greater than 5 years of experience in an engineering role.

Carrying out monthly planned preventative maintenance (PPM), including fuel sampling, filter checks and dewatering

On-site maintenance of dosing pumps, fuel pumps, dosing systems, hoses and pipework

Technical Application Specialist
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Technical Application Specialist ensures proper application of Tremco products in accordance with company and industry guidelines by providing both on-site and office-based problem resolution assistance.
This individual is a technical liaison between the business and Tremco's field-based internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide or obtain accurate and timely product application, qualification, and/or troubleshooting services to internal colleagues and external business partners
Assist with general on-site product application, training, and general substrate review.
Assist with the generation and maintenance of technical documentation and collateral with various internal departments.
Examples include application instructions, technical data sheets, technical marketing collateral, product training programs, 3rd party testing/validation reports, and other product assets.
Assist in the collection of laboratory data forproject and/or product-specific testing.
Assist with and/or perform in-field and in-house analytical lab testing to confirm the chemical compatibility and physical adhesion properties of Tremco products on specified jobs, for evaluating new areas of application, new product development, and competitive product analysis.
Conduct jobsite observations/evaluations with customers and field sales reps to make accurate and timely product and installation recommendations.
Compose official letters and/or corporate communiques, including installation instructions, job qualification parameters, and competitive product comparisons along with assisting in the development of detail drawings to help secure sales opportunities.

Possess and leverage a basic knowledge of Tremco's product portfolio.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This position has responsibility of assisting members of the product and technical groups in executing their respective missions.
The candidate must be a team player and interface / coordinate with several other departments within Tremco.
Expectations are to participate in critical activities aimed at improving existing technical documentation, creating new technical documentation, solving application challenges in the field and assisting with providing technical training to the sales force.
Taking initiative, demonstrating enthusiasm, learning new skills and working towards greater autonomy are also expected.
The position reports to the Technical Resource Manager and will work closely with the Director, Technical Solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides technical expertise and training to other departments and the sales force. Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide technical support responsive to customer and sales force needs.
Develops and maintains a prioritized list of assignments from the Technical Resource Manager, the Director, Technical Solutions, and Product Managers.
Assists with coordinating, development and updating of technical documents. Monitors and advises on competitive product information. Develops product line presentations and participates in training meetings for customers and company sales force. Actively participates with Industry organizations where appropriate. Assists the product and technical group with technical support, including assisting with the product group helpdesk.
Visits construction sites to observe, collect, and report application procedures and deficiencies.
Manages the system engineered to assist the sales force with national inquiries.
Assists with the field trails of new products and processes.
Responsibilities will include any and all responsibilities deemed necessary by the Technical Resource Manager and/or Director, Technical Solutions. Generate and/or edit drawing details using AutoCAD or similar software.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 1+ year of related experience required.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency using AutoCAD or similar software program. Willing and able to access commercial building roofs using a ladder.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, sales and marketing staff, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Willingness to actively participate in a continuing education program.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $48,426 and $60,532 .
This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The International Regulatory Specialist is responsible for providing regulatory support to Rust-Oleum's international business.
The international business encompasses the entire range of our company's products, including paints, coatings, and cleaners.
This position involves reviewing chemicals, product formulations, and labels to ensure global compliance.
In addition, this position serves as Rust-Oleum's lead for chemical registrations for import into various countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
