JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Carboline is seeking an EH&S Specialist located at our manufacturing facility in Green Bay, WI. This person would be responsible for implementing and managing the environmental, health, safety, security, and emergency response programs for the local production and distribution facility.
We are looking for a dynamic trainer and behavior-based safety implementer for this facility.
This position will involve spending a lot of time on the production floor interacting with employees and supervisors identifying improvements in best practices and improving safety within processes.
PSM experience, hazardous waste management and someone that has worked within a Chemical processing facility is preferred.
Requirements:
Minimum of a BS degree in a safety, regulatory, or chemical related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in safety, regulatory, and/or chemical fields.
Strong working knowledge of the OSHA process safety management regulations (PSM).
Proven experience as safety manager.
Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies.
Experience in data analysis and risk assessment.
Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires some physical activity including but not limited to standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately 50% of workday.
This position could also require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
Lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to dust and chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.
Personal protective equipment would be utilized.
This position will require travel by air and/or car including nighttime and overnight up to 25% of the time.
Essential Functions:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EH&S regulations including written programs, record keeping, reports, inspections, monitoring, testing, and training. Maintain compliance with environmental regulations (Title40CFR) including specifically, but not limited to: Solid and Hazardous Waste management and disposal Clean Air Act compliance Clean Water Act compliance Emergency Response Pollution Prevention Planning and Control Establish local EH&S goals and objectives along with the timely and accurate reporting mechanisms.
Coordinate the investigation of incidents (including near misses and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and assist in the development of corrective and preventive action plans.
Serve as the site liaison to local emergency response providers.
Develop and conduct environmental, safety and health training programs to ensure employee's knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Serve as Facility Security Officer to implement and maintain facility security requirements as required by the Department of Homeland Security.
Conduct EH&S reviews for new product development, facility modification, product manufacturing modifications and new equipment/machinery installations per the OSHA PSM standard.
Create and update compliance-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job hazard analysis (JHAs).
Administer and monitor industrial hygiene sampling and communicate exposure information and/or personal protective equipment requirements to employees.
Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
Maintain the health & safety statistics database. Provide coaching and support to employees, supervision, and management to proactively address safety, health, and environmental risks and concerns. Initiate or assist in efforts to continuously improve the overall working environment in the facility.
Provide technical assistance, training, and work direction to colleagues in other departments.
Analyze problems, identifying alternative solutions, and implementing recommendations in support of the Company safety goals and objectives.
Identify potential or actual areas of non-compliance through regular auditing and inspections and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Review and develop profiles for classification of hazardous waste.
Responsible for timely disposal of process waste and waste finished goods.
Provide support to the Corporate Director of EH&S.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

Main Objectives of Job
To provide a comprehensive library services at HMP Brixton, ensuring that the highest standards of customer care are maintained and guaranteeing prisoners are not socially excluded from the benefits of the library service.
To contribute to the development of a welcoming, energetic, modern, committed and innovative service covering all aspects of prison library provision.
The service is to meet requirements under PSI 02/2015 (and any updated legislation) and in line with CILIP Code of Professional Practice.
Main Accountabilities
Responsible for the day to day running of all library provision within HMP Brixton.
The provision of excellent and quality-centred library services designed to meet the recreational, educational, cultural and information needs of prisoners.
To implement targets according to development priorities for the prison library as set out by the Development team or the prison authorities.
The development and maintenance of efficient and effective operations systems (e.g.
stock purchasing, cataloguing, circulation management, procedure, etc.).
Assisting the Development Librarians (Adult or Learning) in the development of the library service, undertaking an annual review of the library, updating and modernising the service as necessary.
Responsible to the Head of Learning & Skills for all internal prison operations.
Responsible to the Development Librarians (Adult or Learning) for professional library operations.
Participation in recruiting and selecting Prisoner Assistants as required.
Supervising their work and training and that of any other staff assigned to the library (arranging duty rotas, etc.), and completing Individual Learning Plans.
Maintaining awareness of the profile of the prison community and running regular surveys to support reading and information needs.
Selecting within the guidelines laid down by senior and specialist staff a wide range of materials to match user requirements, taking particular care to meet the needs of minority groups and to provide basic skills materials.
Liaising with uniformed prison staff to ensure access to the library for all prisoners.
Liaising with the prison Education Department to provide library support for education courses.
Liaising with other relevant external bodies that support prisoners and their families
Providing an enquiry and reference service tailored to prisoner's needs and undertaking research where necessary in particularly to support legal queries.
Maintain and promote a local information file, and disseminate information as appropriate, to support rehabilitation on release.
Exploiting stock through a programme of displays, booklets etc.
to generate interest and promote reading.
Ensuring a readers' request service is provided.
Providing user education and giving induction talks on the library.
Preparing reports and statistical returns as may be required by Lambeth Libraries or by the Prison Service.
Representing the Development Librarian - Adult and Learning within the prison and outside the prison as required.
To apply Health and Safety Policy in co-operation with the prison authorities and other staff so as to ensure the safety of staff and prisoners.
To maintain personal, library and prison security.
To carry out and manage effective enrolment, issue, discharge, shelving, renewal and overdue procedures.
The post holder must at all times have due regard for the Prison Service's and for the Council's Equal Opportunities and Race Relations Policies on which training may be required.
To maintain awareness of current developments in prison libraries through links with the relevant professional bodies and other prison library services.

Trains and assists users in the use of SAP business application software.

Audience may be other IT staff or end-user staff.
Performs cost vs.
benefit analysis to determine rational for application system development and enhancements. Acts as liaison to the software vendors and other users of the software.
Is actively involved in software and/or functional user groups users. Performs systems analysis, design, configuration, and programming tasks related to enhancements, interfaces, data conversion and special reporting requirements, etc. Advises users as to the applicability of various alternatives to meet the specified requirements, such as: SAP baseline functionality & reporting, specialized configuration, extracts to PC-based analysis tools, custom report-writing and report development, complimentary software packages, and or changes to business processes. Performs thorough testing of all new and revised system functions and reporting.
Performs quality assurance reviews of procedural documentation and training materials. Acts as a team leader or group leader for projects / tasks established within a functional area, such as: sales & distribution, finance & accounting, or manufacturing.
Organizes and leads various user group forums to address issue management, to field & manage enhancements requests, and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas among users within a given functional area of the business operation.

Practical Work Experience Required:
5+ years' experience in Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) modules 4+ years SAP implementation experience. S4 Hana experience preferred 3+ Years SAP Super User in discipline related to PP/DS module 3+ Years of supporting related PP and Material Master data including managing data and mass loads / changes Experience with SAP IBP - Integrated Business Planning Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing is a plus Understanding of ABAP and debugging skills are a plus Strong customer service skills and orientation.
High degree of flexibility in interface with customers / constituents.
2 years experience in project management skills. Ability to distinguish, learn and accept differences in business and end-user requirements. Ability to learn and expand technical knowledge and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with effective and cycle time sensitive time management and project management skills.
