JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The CM Development Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the CM Associate program, developing Construction Management Associates for rapid advancement into Construction Manager positions.
This position will create a program curriculum to enhance roofing and contractor safety knowledge, technical roofing expertise, and roofing field-related tasks and processes, thereby helping familiarize the CM Associate with existing WTI construction processes and procedures.
This position is also responsible, but not limited to, evaluating candidates for both entry into the program and advancement to other positions within the existing program.
This position will also help develop and maintain relationships with Construction Management programs, in conjunction with recruiting efforts, to create a pipeline for future CM Associates in regions throughout the country.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create a technical roofing curriculum using existing Tremco University classes.
Create a schedule for achievement for the CM Associates to work through technical education consistently.
Create a process, within existing estimating guidelines, to have line item proposals for material only and small PR work completed by CM Associates directly within the region.
Create timelines and review the process with Estimating Leadership to determine how it will be facilitated.
Act as a liaison between the WTI Leadership, corporate, and the sales force to understand feedback for improvements, new initiatives, and how to improve the overall program design.
Develop an ongoing strategy to manage the future CM Associate pipeline based on the resource needs of the WTI business.
Collaborate with WTI Leadership to identify future resource needs and develop timelines for implementing CM Associate resources to support growth.
Assess daily operational situations for crisis management, safety, and escalation protocol.
Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to, field tasks, process questions, workload balance, job site conditions, product management issues, etc.
Travel to job sites as needed to provide support to CM Associate resources.
Schedule onsite training in regions as needed to help oversee CM Associate field work and educational opportunities.
Cross-collaborate with CM Associates in the Commercial Construction group to help educate on non-roofing related tasks such as estimating, e-Builder, process, etc.
Facilitate resources for daily operations.
Identify resource or employee concerns and act promptly to resolve and engage appropriate HR or WTI management.
Ensure documentation of employee issues is prompt and submitted to HR.
Act as an agent of change and improvement, adapting quickly to changing business priorities.
Performance of the account.
Establish, define, and communicate a clear strategic direction and targets for goal attainment for the CM Associate team.
Facilitate a culture of teamwork and excellence amongst the account and within regions, as well as the organization.
Communicate and implement company policies and procedures within the program and support throughout the organization as required.

EXPERIENCE:
7+ years of prior experience in a results-oriented leadership role for a regional, cross-functional team within the building construction industry.
Prior experience leading a staff in remote multi-state locations.
Experience in an influential role where extraordinary results were achieved through accountability and leading others to achieve and maintain a high standard of performance.
Prior experience clearly defining expectations, articulating ideas, thoughts, and views, and providing continual, timely, frank, and direct feedback to others.
Proven experience with setting strategy and establishing plans for business growth.
Prior experience working between multiple departments that support regional compliance and profitability.
Must have prior hands-on experience with handling field construction in roofing, procedures, and practices, including but not limited to, line-item pricing, safety, order entry, estimating, general contracting procedures, designation and duties of employees, warranties, quality assurance practices, service offerings, etc. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Understanding of contract management and processes
Intermediate skills with financial data and mathematics (knowledge of statistics, business metrics, gross margin, operating income, cost management, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is done through the compilation of internal and external data sources, both ongoing and adhoc, then interpreting these and their potential impact on strategy and planned tactics.
User Insights - Own qualitative and quantitative user research at Rust-Oleum, including User Segmentation, Brand Positioning, Macro Trends, etc.
The research conducted will provide a clear understanding of end-user needs, wants, problems, likes and dislikes with respect to target home improvement and professional applications, as well as educate the team on research best practices.
Business Insights - Create a clearly defined market intelligence plan.
Create actionable business insights internally and externally; internally this includes assessing sales performance of our products at retail in a timely and factual manner; externally, you'll provide a value-added service to retailers by positioning Rust-Oleum as the vendor of choice.
POS Data - Capture & analyze POS scanner data from sources such as NPD, Epicor, Retail Links, audits & surveys, customer data, etc.
to identify customer opportunities.
Merchandising / Category Management - Provide analysis and shopper-driven recommendations as part of business reviews, assortment & space optimization, and trade promotions.
Insights Cornerstone - Connect the dots across multiple sources of data and information to generate insight and make meaningful recommendations that drive competitive advantage and profitable growth.
Help ensure insight is woven throughout brand strategy, portfolio & pricing optimization, and innovation initiatives and is shared with the broader organization to support decision making.
Develop a one view insight data base with associated dashboards and KPI's that is shared across the organization.
Present insights to internal teams and key strategic retail accounts.
Leadership - Lead, manage and develop team of User & Market Insights and Category Management reports and cross-functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Research, Communications, Design, Behavioral Research or User Research. 10 years' experience and strong understanding of user insight and market research with 5+ years' experience in category management. Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Hardware & Home Improvement industry experience. Strong storytelling skills and business acumen to simplify large and complex data into compelling recommendations. Excellent knowledge of insight data collection methods (quantitative and qualitative). Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to craft stories from data. Thinks strategically and creatively, has deep curiosity that drives investigation. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a Continuous Improvement strategy aligned with business goals.
Work with all the Heads of Departments (HoDs) to identify the Key departmental and cross functional processes, as well as any process gaps, and areas for improvement.
Lead workshops and training sessions enhancing Continuous Improvement capabilities across the business.
Work directly with teams and HoDs on change management to ensure the pace of change is appropriate and that new ways of working are embedded.
Using methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma, work with the HoDs to ensure that our processes are fit for purpose (Agile, efficient, resilient to errors, clearly understood, add value with clear accountabilities).
The successful Business Process Continuous Improvement Manager, Hertfordshire, will have:
2:1 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or IT Disciplines.
Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred (Black Belt a plus).
Proven experience in process improvement and project management, with proficiency in process mapping software and data analysis tools.

This HSE Manager position is with a globally leading chemical manufacturing company specialising in the manufacture of bespoke resins.
The main purpose of the HSE Manager is to ensure the effectiveness of the EHS Department, compliance with government and legal regulations and promoting a positive climate in which EHS is seen by all employees and customers.
Taking this opportunity as HSE Manager would mean working for a leading global producer of chemical products.
This is a key manufacturing company relied on by many industries and this HSE Manager role is critical to the ongoing operation.
This role has a base salary of between £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE), and a benefits package which includes a company pension, BUPA healthcare, 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
The working hours for this role are standard days, 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities of the HSE Manager ;
Supervision, Implementation and Communication of the Systems [45001 & 14001].
Accident and incident investigations, report findings and Identify countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence by RCA; identification of hazard and planning of action to remove or reduce.
You will assist the Process Safety team in process hazard assessments (PHA), including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, HFA and the development of ALARP demonstrations, as required under COMAH.
You will be required to keep up to date with legislation and industry best practice and prepare, communicate changes highlighting any risk or operations requirements, with supervision of the Legislation Register, ensuring of site compliance through documented checks and protocol.
The HSE Manager will develop & implement regulations under the health and safety at work act 1974 programs to ensure compliance with applicable health and safety standards.
Responsibility for organising health and safety training programmes for relevant site personnel, and other duties around the safety and environmental complaint operations of the facility.
Lead site safety protocol including, communication and awareness to all who access site and or restricted areas.
To act as Fire Officer for the site, and to ensure site fire risk assessments are up to date.
Lead the sites COSHH Assessment process, including carrying out of such assessments.
Responsible for developing the environmental strategy and environmental performance and lead site environmental permits.
Product Life Cycle Assessment and Internal improvements on 12 principles of green chemistry.
To be successful in this position as HSE Manager you must hold the below experience and qualifications:
Hold previous experience working in a similar and relevant role, with a good working knowledge of the Chemical industry and its associated legislations.
Experience working on a COMAH site.
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject (health and safety, Chemical etc).
NEBOSH L3 certificate or above.
IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
Lead Auditor 45001 and 1401 qualifications and knowledge (essential)
