To be successful as a Service Engineer, candidates must bring strong technical expertise particularly in handling equipment such as heat exchangers, water and energy recovery systems, steam systems and PLC control processes.
The Service Engineer will be instrumental in supporting key projects and delivering on-site service at customer facilities.
Responsibilities of the Service Engineer:
Install and maintain all aspects of water and energy recovery systems, including mechanical and electrical components, with the ability to provide technical troubleshooting as needed.
Conduct site visits to assess, optimise, and enhance water and energy equipment at customer locations.
Ensure all necessary risk assessments, method statements, and flow diagrams are completed before commencing work on-site.
Commission water and energy equipment to the agreed specifications.
Manage small- to medium-scale projects, ensuring installations meet or exceed best practice standards.
Perform site surveys and technical visits, both independently and alongside contractors to assess project feasibility and scope.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications Required for the Service Engineer:
Experience in a similar installation or project based role is essential to be successful as the Service Engineer.
Electrical Qualifications (18th Edition is desirable)
Previous experience in an industrial/commercial laundry setting or within the water treatment industry is highly desirable.
The role requires national travel across the UK & Ireland, with overnight stays when necessary.

FPSG have a Glasgow based Client looking for a highly motivated & skilled IT Project Engineer for an initial 18 month assignment, based on-site in their well-presented, Glasgow offices.
You will be embraced as a key member of the team, and from Day 1 spend time on a wide array of projects, where previous experience working as an IT Project Engineer or IT Support Engineer in an MSP environment will prove to be very beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to system performance, security, or project delays.
Training and Support: Provide training to end-users on new systems and technologies, ensuring they are equipped to utilize solutions effectively.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to IT systems and processes.
Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party vendors for procurement of IT hardware, software, and services as required for project execution.
Skills & Qualifications we are looking for:
Proven experience in a Project Engineer role or IT support role within an MSP environment.
Excellent technical knowledge across a variety of technologies, including:
Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, and Active Directory.
Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
IT security (firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients in a clear, non-technical way.
Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning is a plus.
A commercial-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT services.

An exciting opportunity has hit the market with a leading global RF technology group.
We are currently hiring for a Senior Antenna and RF Design Engineer to join a new, highly capable R&D team based in Lincolnshire.
Main Responsibilities of the Senior Antenna and RF Design Engineer, based in Lincolnshire:
Lead the technical development of antenna and RF subsystem design projects
Architect innovative RF solutions and manage project activities
Mentor and support junior engineering staff
Develop and simulate conceptual antenna designs using MATLAB, CST, FEKO, HFSS
Oversee antenna prototype construction, testing, and performance measurements
Lead RF circuit design, including filters, switches, and amplifiers
Manage PCB layout and prototype construction
Conduct testing and qualification of RF designs, ensuring compliance with EMC standards
Design mixed-signal and digital control subsystems
Develop custom testing hardware and conduct full-system performance modelling
Prepare detailed technical reports and deliver presentations to customers and at technical conferences
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering (Master's or PhD preferred)
Extensive experience in antenna and RF subsystem design and testing
Proficient with simulation and modelling tools such as MATLAB, CST, FEKO, HFSS, MWO, ADS
Strong knowledge of EMC testing and design for EMC compliance
Hands-on experience in prototype fabrication and system assembly
Excellent computer literacy: MS Office, Windows, and design software
Understanding of system engineering principles
Experience working directly with customers and presenting technical material
