Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm; Alternate Saturdays, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
ð ï¸ About the Role: We are looking for skilled Vehicle Technicians to join a main dealership service department in Basildon.
Whether you are a Master Technician or a Semi-Skilled Technician, we want to hear from you! This role involves servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles, while using cutting-edge diagnostic equipment.
ð Key Responsibilities:
- Service & Diagnose: Maintain and repair customer vehicles to the highest standards.
- Diagnostic Equipment: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs clearly.
- Training: Participate in manufacturer and in-house training programs to expand your skills.

Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent certifications in vehicle maintenance.
- Driving License: Valid UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points.
- Skills: Strong customer service skills, a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Experience: Previous experience with diagnostic equipment and warranty repairs.
- MOT Tester: MOT qualification is an advantage but not essential.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Bishops Stortford Salary: Up to £55,480 OTE
Hours: 40 hours per week, MondayFriday (Saturday mornings on rota)
Contract: Permanent

About the Role Were recruiting skilled Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics to join a busy workshop in Bishops Stortford.
Youll carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and MOT testing using the latest tools and technology, supported by an experienced management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
- Complete warranty work and documentation to manufacturer standards
- Carry out MOT tests (certificate essential)
- Conduct road tests to confirm work is completed correctly
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
What Youll Need
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
- EV or hybrid training desirable but not essential
