Job Title: Associate Product Manager - Small Project Paints

As an Associate Product Manager in our Small Project Paints segment, you'll be at the heart of innovation, helping to shape the future of one of our most dynamic and fast-moving product categories. In this role, you'll be both a strategic partner and a hands-on doer.
You'll support the product management team with critical day-to-day operations, while also owning and driving your own projects from concept to shelf.
Whether it's launching a new color line, analyzing market trends, or collaborating with cross-functional teams on packaging updates, your work will directly influence how our products show up in the world.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with marketing, R&D, sales, and supply chain to bring new ideas to life. Support the product management team as well as lead your own projects; including product enhancements, competitive research, and go-to-market initiatives. Assist in managing the product lifecycle-from ideation and development to launch and post-launch analysis. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Strategize, design, develop, launch, and support product campaigns. Work with our Creative department to create visually appealing interfaces. Participate in market research and market intelligence gathering to ensure understanding of applications, users, competition and market trends.
Analyze and leverage data and insights to develop and formulate product recommendations.
Conduct early-stage opportunity assessment, ideation and concept development for a new product opportunity from ideation to market launch. Manage product portfolio to develop and promote new products and optimize and grow existing product lines. Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, business developments and market trends to identify strategic opportunities and ensure product offering is properly positioned. Driving new product development activities through Stage-Gate product management and market research Ensuring profitability within the assigned market segments, including supporting the product commercialization process Define and develop product positioning, messaging, feature specifications, unique selling proposition and pricing strategies. Travel is approximately 5% annually for customer presentations, trade shows, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
This is an entry level role. 4+ years of relevant Brand or Product experience.
(consumer packaged goods preferred) Exhibit understanding of the product commercialization process and documentation and information sharing needs and protocols. Exhibit understanding of retail, independent paint/hardware, and distribution business models. Team player who will work well on cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Sales, Research & Development, Customer Service, etc. Exceptional communication, organization, prioritization, presentation and interpersonal skills. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.

Review each individual Roofing field sales (annual) business plan.

Act as technical expert for related technologies in assigned area and market segment.

Collaborate with the Learning team on content for our qualified applicator program (QAPs) and general industry training.

Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team on the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to meet business objectives and generate leads/opportunities/orders.
Work in partnership with Corporate Development and Strategy groups to develop strategy maps and business plans.
Identify and assist in the prioritization of merger and acquisition (M&A) targets based on strategic initiatives and growth priorities.
Drive integration of acquired products into new and established sales initiatives.
Collaborate with Strategy and R&D teams on next generation technology.
Create, implement, maintain, and train on the use of value calculators.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The General Contracting (GC) Manager oversees and manages all aspects of the General Contracting business (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc.) within the assigned region.
This will involve working with Construction Managers, CM Associates, Project Managers, Service Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, GC Superintendents, Tremco Sales Representatives, Owners, and Subcontractors to ensure projects are performed safely, meet customers' expectations, conform to contractual obligations, and meet financial objectives.
Additional duties will include participating in proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the region, also responsible for Sales & Service Support, Field Resource & Customer Management communication as necessary.
The GC Manager will create and execute training plans for new CM, CM Associate, and Project Manager positions for new employees.
With the RBM, the GC Manager is responsible for the overall profitability and performance of all GC projects in the region(s).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct WTI personnel and work cross-functionally with other Tremco and WTI external and internal departments to maximize efforts and results in sales, compliance, safety, and profitability.
Act as a liaison between headquarters and the field to ensure that effective two-way communication takes place, and that positive results are achieved.
Assess daily operational situations for crisis management, safety, and escalation protocol. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to, field resource management, workload balance, job site conditions, product management issues, etc. Travel to job sites as needed to support account resources (including rooftop projects).
Travel to customer or sales meetings to support business or account activities.
Accountable for regional cost/budget variance & profitability as it relates to General Contracting. Accountable for regional Quality Assurance. Understanding of the subcontractor agreement and corrective notification measures to the subcontractor according to the executed agreement.
