Job Description:
We are looking for an Investment Governance Manager to join the team at a boutique financial services firm.
The successful candidate will focus on managing client relationships, and the selection and oversight of suitable investment consultants and fiduciary managers.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate with strong investment knowledge and client relationship experience.
This role is hybrid 2-3 days in the office, and is flexible on location (Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Bristol), and will involve travel to London if based elsewhere.
Skills/Experience:
Pension scheme and investment experience with seven to ten years' experience.
Proactive, self-starter with the ability to focus on the tactical implementation of that strategy for the firm.
Ability to communicate effectively, strong relationship and presentation skills, good written skills, appropriate MS and data tool skills and emotionally intelligent.
Ideally working towards or already qualified in IMC/CFA for example
Ability to interpret investment data, performance metrics, and fee structures.
Experience of conducting in-depth assessments of fiduciary managers and investment consultants would be beneficial
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deliver tailored advice and recommendations.
Solid understanding of investment markets, fiduciary management, and defined benefit/contribution pension schemes.
Competence in drafting clear, concise, and insightful research and oversight reports.
Comfortable working with colleagues across levels to support analysis and client deliverables.
Accuracy in data handling, report creation, and compliance with internal processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Staying informed on developments in the UK pension and investment industry.
Awareness of and adherence to relevant regulatory and internal compliance frameworks.

Support due diligence research on fiduciary management and investment advisory firms.
Analyse fee structures and investment data related to these firms.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, new products, and developments in the UK DB and DC pension space.
Attend industry conferences as needed.
Contribute to the drafting and writing of research reports.
Collaborate with associates to analyse performance data and prepare client oversight reports.
Ensure compliance with the firm's regulations and procedures.

Essential Functions:
Meets or exceed Stonhard's minimum activity standards for quotes and orders as set by Stonhard sales management.
Perform project manager responsibilities at the installation site and coordinate the work to be performed with an approved Stonhard installation crew/CMG (requires occasional weekend and holiday work). Maintains accurate files and records involving Stonhard accounts through Stonhard's Salesforce CRM system. Monitors customers' accounts receivables and is responsible for the follow-up of same.
Minimum Requirements:
Two (2) plus related experience, preferably in industrial, construction or commercial industry. Spend a minimum of 4 days per week in the field with Stonhard customers. Required travel can be up to 50%/time in the field. Ability to proactively identify opportunities and quickly implement solutions. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills. Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment. A proven ability to manage projects and clearly communicate key project tasks. Must be computer literate with experience using technology and customer relationship management software (Salesforce.com), and Microsoft 365. You must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Support Engineer / ISE, who will provide Technical Sales Support for my client who are a leading manufacturer of Process Control, Process Automation and Process Instrumentation based at their headquarters which are located on the Isle of Wight.
Our client produces a comprehensive DCS, Distributed Control Systems suite of PLC, HMI, Drives, Automation, Control and Instrumentation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Internal Sales Engineer who will provide technical sales support for clients and their colleague sales co-ordinators.
You will liaise with the Sales Support Manager and Sales Director and suggest any changes or improvements which may enhance efficiency or save costs.
The Internal Sales Engineer will check all customer enquiries with due regard to pricing and delivery requirements and all customer requests are dealt with speedily and efficiently.
The role also entails the ISE to be able to articulate with all written correspondence and you will be expected to maintain a database of all quotations in order to enable speedy access of information.
For the Isle of Wight based role of Internal Sales Engineer you will have previous experience in working in a technical / sales role.
You will need to be a confident and assertive communicator with a strong customer focus and the ability to work under your own initiative.

This is a part-time role working 4 days a week with 12-month FTC offering a salary of £26,825 plus a 5% performance bonus.
As a Payroll Administrator / Accounts Assistant, you will be supporting payroll and finance operations in a varied and hands-on position.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days office and 2 days remote.
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting the Finance Payroll Manager with end-to-end payroll processing across multiple payrolls
* Preparing and managing pension data and maintaining accurate records
* Administering and reconciling petty cash and corporate credit card returns
* Conducting monthly control account reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies
* Posting journals and managing related documentation in line with deadlines
* Assisting other teams within the finance function including sales ledger, credit control, and management accounts as required
* Contributing to year-end audit preparation and related reconciliations
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Assistant, Payroll clerk, Payroll executive, Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
* Experience running in-house payroll systems including statutory returns, pension submissions, and deductions
* A solid grasp of accounting ledgers and reconciliation processes
* Knowledge of Payrite payroll software desirable
* Practical exposure to finance departments or accountancy environments
* Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
