Mobile HGV TechnicianLocation: Enfield, Field Based Salary: up to 44k Hours: 7.30-4.00 Mon to Fri (38.75 hours) Overtime availableThe Role We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a world-renowned multinational company and assist with the service and maintenance of specialist HGVs.
If you have worked as a heavy Plant Fitter, HGV Technician, PSV technician/Bus mechanic, I would be very keen to speak to you about the position.
Key duties of the Mobile HGV Technician
Diagnostic analysis, repairs or preventative maintenance
Provide a customer facing product support
Complete PDI inspections
Repair equipment and vehicles at depot or on site as required to ensure conformance with manufacturer's specification and company policy
Complete planned maintenance activities including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard.
Handover equipment to customers and familiarise customers with safe operation in accordance with company procedures.
Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.
Relay appropriate customer queries to staff as required
Accurately complete all relevant paperwork including engineer's reports, inspections, calibrations check and job sheets.
Complete any mechanical maintenance, testing and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, motors and ancillary equipment, be able to read schematic drawings
Experience required for the Mobile HGV Technician
Proven background in auto-electrical fault diagnosis and repair, including use of electronic diagnostic equipment.
Hands-on experience with a range of HGVs and specialist vehicles.
Other:
Full UK driving licence.
Good work ethic
Willing to learn
City & Guilds Level 3 - Vehicle Mechanical and Electronic Systems (Maintenance & Repair) or equivalent is advantageous

Join our cutting-edge USV Commissioning Team as a Technician, where you will play a vital role in the operation, maintenance, and repair of advanced Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
Based primarily in Plymouth and reporting to the Commissioning Supervisor, you will work closely with the Sea-Kit commissioning team—including the USV Master, Survey Engineer, and regional representatives—to ensure all systems and equipment are functioning effectively and ready for deployment.
Your responsibilities will include configuring systems, fault finding, managing spares, and supporting testing operations, all while maintaining clear communication with the commissioning supervisor and onshore teams.

Your role and responsibilities:
Develop a working knowledge of the setup, testing, maintenance, and operation of the ROV, survey sensors, and vessel systems
Assist with berthing, refueling, and planned maintenance activities
Support fault finding and fault reporting across equipment, vessel spread, ROV control, and navigational systems
Maintain ROV systems, launch and recovery equipment, and vessel-mounted survey sensors
Assist with vessel servicing to ensure components are operational for inspections and investigations in line with project deliverables and regulations
Understand and comply with Fugro standard operating procedures and project-specific protocols
Communication
Provide clear and timely communication to technical support teams to ensure swift resolution of faults

ð About the Role We are recruiting for a prestige main dealership in Ashford, seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional and growing service team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models, using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment in a modern, well-equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Work on gearboxes, engines, clutches, brakes, suspension and more
- Complete all work efficiently and accurately, maintaining high standards and productivity
- Record all work carried out, including parts used and time taken, in line with manufacturer and company standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
ð§ Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- At least 2 years experience as a Vehicle Technician post-qualification
- Strong technical knowledge, especially in diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and fault-finding
- Full UK driving licence
- A positive, self-motivated team player who thrives in a workshop environment

ð° Salary: £28,577 £35,000 per annum

ð§ About the Role We are working in partnership with the UKs largest automotive service, maintenance, and repair group to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for their busy service centre in Paignton.
Youll be joining a professional workshop environment that offers excellent long-term career prospects, regular training, and a competitive bonus scheme.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles
- Conducting more complex repair work including clutches, timing belts, injectors, head gaskets, and more
- Servicing vehicle electrics, steering, brakes, and suspension systems
- Working efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance
- Delivering great customer service and clear communication within the team
ð Key Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
OR proven time-served technician experience - Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points
- Confident with diagnostic tools and experienced in complex repairs
- MOT Testing qualification is a plus (training can be provided)
- Experience in an Autocentre, dealership, or independent garage environment
