We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Fitter to join a growing and forward-thinking company based in a modern, clean facility in the Warrington area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on brand-new vehicle conversions in a supportive and sociable work environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Assembly Fitter role:
Working on a vehicle conversion line within a modern workshop
Assembling pre-manufactured parts using a range of hand and power tools
Installing vehicle equipment such as racking, shelving, and flooring
Moving vehicles around the workshop
Working with drawings
We welcome candidates with previous experience in hands-on roles, particularly those from the following backgrounds: Coachbuilding, Mechanical Assembly, Fitting (kitchens, windows, etc.) Manufacturing, Electrical and Handyperson work.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a assembly fitter to join a market-leading manufacturer in Wakefield.
This role offers ongoing training and development, early finish on a Friday, overtime paid at a premium rate, and the chance to work in a dynamic environment.
The company's location, just a few miles from the M1 and M62 motorways, makes it easily accessible from areas like Leeds, Bradford, Castleford, Huddersfield, and Dewsbury.As a assembly fitter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including fitting windows made from various materials, cutting and installing vents, and carrying out installation and boarding works.
You will work with a range of hand and power tools, read and interpret technical drawings, and take precise measurements to ensure a high standard of work.Key Responsibilities of the assembly fitter:
Fitting windows made from a variety of different materials.
Fitting and cutting out fitting vents.
Carrying out installation and boarding works.
Using a variety of different hand and power tools.
Reading of measurements.
Reading and understanding technical drawings.
Experience required of the assembly fitter:
Comfortable to carry out manual heavy lifting
Experience working within a manufacturing background
Ability to work with hand and power tools.
Comfortable reading and taking measurements.
Basic understand of reading technical drawings
Working Hours of the assembly fitter:
Monday: 08:00-17:00
Tuesday- Thursday: 08:00-16:30
Friday: 08:00-14:00
In Return, the assembly fitter will receive:
£13 per hour
Early finish on a Friday
Overtime paid at a premium
28 days holiday (increasing to 32 with length in service)
