Zest Optical are currently working with a leading independent optical group to recruit a Mobile Optometrist covering Winchester and nearby branches.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and adaptable Optometrist who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the chance to work with multiple teams across a respected family-run group.
Mobile Optometrist - Role Overview
Deliver comprehensive sight tests and eye examinations across various practices in the Winchester region
Provide a wide range of clinical services, including emergency eye care, paediatric assessments, and myopia management
Tailor recommendations to each patient's individual needs, ensuring a truly personalised experience
Maintain high standards of professionalism and adhere to GOC guidelines
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
Collaborate with branch teams and local healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals
Ensure all clinical equipment is maintained and in excellent working order
Company car provided for travel between locations

The Role of Northern Field Technician – Waterproofing
Act as a Northern Field Technician to promote and raise awareness of company products by surveying commercial sites, taking core samples, and writing condition reports while supporting Regional Sales Managers.
Provide on-site advice, demonstrations, and training on waterproofing liquid products.
Enhance the company’s profile by building and maintaining strong relationships and offering on-site support to contractors.
Prepare detailed reports and ensure high-quality technical support across projects.

The Ideal Person for the Northern Field Technician – Waterproofing
Our client is looking for someone who is result driven with a proven record, professional, vibrant, self-motivated and a desire to succeed.
Must have on the tools roofing knowledge and surveying skills, this would suit someone who would like to take their roofing experience into manufacturing.
Ideally but not essential NVQ in Roofing or/and IPAS cert.
Focused and dedicated to delivering good services.
Disciplined to managing own diary.

The Role of the Design Engineer
As the Design Engineer you will be producing Temporary Works designs and drawings on a day-to-day basis
Produce one-off project work as directed by the Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer or Senior Engineers
Provide technical support to the sales team / customer (project related / non-project related)
Self-management of allocated workload to meet customer / business demand
Based in the company’s North West Office
The Ideal Person for the Design Engineer
Minimum 2:1 in Civil Engineering (BEng, BSc)
Ideally a graduate member of ICE or IStructE, but this is not essential.
Understanding/interest of temporary works, structural or geotechnical design
Technically competent and confident communicator
Organised, self-motivated, and a keen learner
Will be confident using AutoCAD.
Experience with Revit would be beneficial.
Training will be provided.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced design environment
