Our client is looking for someone who has at least 5 years' experience at a design consultancy.
This role will give you experience in leading a team and guiding lower-level Engineers.
The role:
Prepare infrastructure drawings and design using AutoCAD and other proprietary design software.
Provide a single point of contact on designated projects.
Undertake negotiations with Local and Drainage Authority Engineers on design for adoptable works (Section 104, Section 38 and Section 278).
Understand and implement designs on private areas to comply with current Codes of Practice.
Understand and appreciate the role of the other members of the design team (Architect, M&E Engineer, Client etc).
What you need to succeed:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Practical understanding of civil engineering principles.
5-10 years experience in a similar role within Consultancy
Educated to degree or HNC level.
Chartered or Incorporated member of the Institution of Civil Engineers preferable but not essential.
Ability to manage a team of Engineers and Technicians and mentor junior members of staff.

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Previous experience as a DM, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse in a nursing home setting
Previous experience of leading a team
Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding
Good IT skills and confidence in computer based work
Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent annual salary of £39,713 per annum.
