Job Title Plant Fitter
Salary - £35000 - £45000 Basic (Flexible DOE)
Hours Monday to Friday, Day Shift Overtime Available
Location Leighton Buzzard
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a main dealership Plant company in the Leighton Buzzard area who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Fitter.
This role will be mobile covering the area for any call outs and breakdowns with the possibility of working at the Depot.
Great opportunity with on-going training available, paid overtime, company van etc.
Plant Fitter Main Responsibilities
This role includes the following key priorities:
- Servicing and repairing machinery and equipment, either in the workshop or during field visits.
- Fixing faults or installing replacement parts.
- Compliance with manufacturers service and warranty procedures.
- Account for all hours worked using timesheet or scanner, as applicable.
- Keep the Management informed of progress.
- Maintain work area and company vehicle in a safe, tidy, and professional manner, necessary to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Employees must act in accordance with the company Health & Safety Policy, Risk Assessments and Safe Working Practices.
Plant Fitter Personal Specification
- Good mechanical knowledge of any vehicle or machinery would be ideal and experience in the agricultural sector would be a bonus but not essential as full training is available.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
- An awareness of health and safety.
- A full drivers licence is essential.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Quality & Process Engineer based close to the Leighton Buzzard area.
The position is working with an internationally respected manufacturer who have multiple sites across the UK.This role reports into the Plant Manager and will act as key interface between all of the site's operational teams to ensure a consistent approach and achievement of Quality targets.
The main purpose of this role is to drive quality and maximise plant efficiency by creating processes and procedures in order to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to the end user.What's in it for you as Quality & Process Engineer
Basic salary of up to £52,000
Monday - Friday working
8% pension
10% KPI Bonus
33 days holiday including Bank Holidays
40 hours working week

Main Responsibilities of Quality & Process Engineer
Responsible for Quality at plant level
Ensure Group and National requirements incorporated in local standards and procedures
Regular assessment and verification of the constancy of product and process performance (compliance with internal and external quality standards)
Provide plant level input to Group system and standards
Responsible for managing and performing plant quality testing
Permanent monitoring of factory production control (Receiving inspection of raw materials, processes, intermediate and end products)
Responsible of cleanliness and safety inside the factory (5s)
Duties of the Quality & Process Engineer
Development of Quality within the plant
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager regarding quality conditioning in the Plant
Implementing knowledge of ISO 9001, SAP and ERP systems
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for Quality & Process Engineer
To be able to train and develop a team
Experience of a KPI environment
Basic Production and Quality Knowledge
