Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Marine Engineer: • Mechanical fitter of all general Marine systems. • Experience Diesel Engines. • Striping engines down and re building. • Fitting all mechanical components. • Working on hydraulics. • Reading and interpretation of technical drawings. Qualifications and requirements requested for the Marine Engineer: • Engine Alignment • Marine experience would be an advantage. • Lorry fitters and diesel fitters would be at an advantage if non marine.
