Tremco is currently searching for an Inbound/Outbound Distribution Clerk in our Distribution Center in Euclid, OH.
The Distribution Clerk is responsiblefor ensuring that all shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents. Work with Plant Operations, Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve allocation discrepancies. Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Distribution Services Manager. Ensure good security processes are followed with regard to the CTPAT (driver and visitor sign in). Answer/route all telephone calls in a polite manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner. Assists & evaluates needs with shipping points, services, weights & freight permits, and other information needed. Initiates, answers & documents tracer inquiries when requested via email and/or fax. Maintains shipping stations are in working order and stock with materials. Notifies consignee of shipment arrival and coordinates shipment information to other offices and/or agents. Arranges for movement of freight to consignee/agent & updates the system with information. Route Shuttle Drivers to maximize the efficiency of moving the Production stock to the DC. Processes necessary invoices to appropriate office for payment. Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments into the company's ERP system and into the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers. Monitor the supply of packaging materials and requisition additional supplies as required. Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages. Identify errors on packing lists & invoices and correct them. In conjunction with senior supervisor will be responsible for all outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. Using ERP System, prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight. Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork. Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by strict adherence to standard operating procedures. Gather, enter into warehouse management system and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities. Complete necessary management reports as required. Responsible reporting Cycle Counts to Distribution Services Manager as required by identified Cycle Count Program. Act as back up to other functions as necessary. All other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor(s). The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $44,000 and $55,000.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Process Engineer Co-Op will have the opportunity to learn, experience, and contribute to the operations of the polyurethane sealants and coating manufacturing process.
The Co-op will develop an understanding of the relationship between the manufacturing process and various support teams with a focus on safety, product quality testing, and process validation and improvement.
This position will spend a significant amount of time in the lab and on the plant floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist quality team in performing routine tests accurately and timely to determine if the products meet product specifications and approve product for shipping and filling. Manage retain room filing and disposal. Sustain lab 5S (QC lab and retain room). Participate in product quality projects with root cause investigations and effective corrective actions with the goal of preventing customer complaints and reducing internal rework. Lead small project for quality improvement through test, data collection, and analysis. Other tasks and projects as assigned.
EDUCATION
Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in good academic standing, pursing a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical focus preferred)
EXPERIENCE
Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred but not required

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Quality Managers manages the Quality Process to ensure we are effectively meeting our key business metrics and satisfying all customer product requirements.
Key responsibilities include Quality, Lean and Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement with responsibility for ISO quality systems and compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all quality related functions in the plant.
Act as primary plant liaison with Customers dealing with their processing issues.
Participate in the development of specifications for processing, products, and materials.
Work directly with Corporate and local Purchasing on vendor quality or supply issues; assist with vendor selection and qualification.
Manage ISO Quality systems.
Lead the lean/six sigma initiatives in the plant.
Respond to and report on customer complaints - manage the root cause investigation, corrective action implementation and follow up, and the SAP quality process.
Interact professionally and timely both verbally and in writing with customers and sales force.
Develop quality standards for raw materials and finished product.
Oversee all lab functions and personnel, assuring safety and integrity of those operations.
Perform testing on raw materials and finished product as required.
Implement material cost saving plans where and when appropriate.
Participate in annual budget planning.
Assist in all compliance activities, especially HazCom and maintaining SDS system.

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Quality, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, Polymer, or Business is required.
EXPERIENCE:
4+ years of experience is required. Experience with chemical batch-making operations and quality programs, such as Lean, ISO, Six Sigma, is required.

Collaborate with Human Resources in workplace injury case management and return-to-work programs. Formal training in occupational health and safety.
