To facilitate Occupational Therapy interventions to a defined caseload, working with an agreed degree of autonomy and independence, with regular support/supervision from the Therapy Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor.
Conduct initial parent/carer meetings to determine case history and needs.
Facilitate initial assessment sessions, employing appropriate assessment methods to determine needs.
Plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate support programmes for pupils and oversee individual programmes.
Provide individualised targets as part of each pupil's IEP in consultation with parents and teaching staff.
Report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils and maintain records of interventions.
To keep confidential clinical case-notes for each student, in line with professional standards.
To write reports to contribute to Annual Review meetings.
To maintain regular communication with parents, teaching staff and MDT to support a joined up approach around students.
To contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings, student focus meetings and class meetings to share information and provide appropriate strategies.
To incorporate specialist information into practice in order to ensure a joined up approach between therapies and more widely across the school.
To deliver staff training, including Occupational Therapy induction for new staff.
Depending on experience, support the MDT Lead in the specific leadership of the OT team including providing supervision for an OT assistant.

Overview:

We are seeking two experienced and innovative Occupational Therapists to review moving and handling needs and assess for optimal care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct moving and handling assessments with extensive experience and expertise.
- Guide and support the implementation of optimal care through robust risk assessment, positive risk-taking, and strength-based work.
- Enable individuals to live more independently and promote positive outcomes for residents while achieving savings through enabling optimal care.
- Communicate effectively and work in partnership with residents, their families, care providers, and other professionals.
- Complete targeted reviews across the borough in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers and Assessment Officers.
- Make recommendations for equipment and adaptations, including major/substantial adaptations to assist people in maintaining independence.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Housing Act, and principles of safeguarding.
Reporting Structure:
You will report to the Optimal Care Lead Occupational Therapist and receive monthly supervision and guidance, as well as informal support.
Work Environment:
Sutton has embraced hybrid working.
You will be required to be based in the office regularly and conduct face-to-face visits with residents in Sutton.

Job Purpose: Cook Pay: Days: £15.00 LTD p/h | Bank Hol: £17.00 LTD p/h + £150 SCS Welcome BonusLocation: LiverpoolHours: 40 Hours per Week (less will be considered)Contract: 4 Weeks with likelihood of extensionThe post holder will work be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and service of nourishing and delightful meals to residents, considering their individual preferences, special dietary requirements, and any necessary modifications in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating a varied and nutritional menu in line with dietary needs and preferences
Training and managing the kitchen team in prepping
Managing all mandatory paperwork including: adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures
Catering for special events or seasonal activities
Ordering and procuring fresh food and other food supplies from Preferred Suppliers
Regularly monitor stock control and to inform the Manager of any discrepancies.
To ensure proper stock rotation of food to minimise wastage, and to dispose of promptly any foods found to be past "sell-by" dates for any reason.
To prepare nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, taking into account, the content, balance, colour and nutritional values of each meal
To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas at all times, in accordance with the appropriate Food Hygiene Regulations
